MINI Issues Log - Anyone done one yet?
Has anyone started an issues log and VIN numbers? I wonder if there is a correlation between production runs and certain issues.
Being a geeky engineer that I am, I think it would be neat to have some good (non BMW/Mini) data to look for any patterns in the issues.
I think is we log the VIN and issues we should be able find some patterns of issues or failures. I assume the VIN will tell me the production run (day?) for the specific Mini.
What are your guys/gals thoughts on this? Any added value? I can set up a dedicated e-mail account for people to send me their info and issues.
To keep it fair I would also need to log non-issue cars too.
