Kosei K1 with Conti extreme winter contact rubber. Went with non RFT, using my BMW mobility kit which comes with gloves, a compressor and a container of sealant. Canadian spec Minis use a passive TPMS, so no sensors to worry about.

My winter wheels and tires are on too. Sport Edition wheels (not my first choice but price was right) and Michelin Pilot Alpin runflats. I reluctantly went with runflats due to the 200 plus miles treks from SF to Reno somethimes late at night and often in inclement weather. Runflats saved the night some time ago so I think it was the right choice given how I use this car.

Here is the diry CM with the clean convertible that is mothballed until the spring.

nice. looking for wheels for snow use. these look good but concerned about an offset of 35. any chance you could post some more shots, perhaps showing how far the wheels stick out?

thanks!

put my 16" mini oem rims with 205/70-16 dunlop winter tires on today

see for photos

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...s-rim-fit.html

the winter tires are 27.3" OD vs the stock 225/45-18 OD of 25.9"

no rubbing noted, even at full lock

Hi,

I too am looking at getting Blizzaks tires (Bridgestone Blizzak WS70 205/60-16) & black wheels put onto my 2011 MINI Cooper S Countryman ALL4 for winter.
My CM currently has the 17” 5-star spoke wheels.

I don’t know what the off-set is for my current wheels, but Tirerack.com recommends a wheel (for the above Blizzak tire) with an offset of 40mm.

The only solid black wheel that I’ve been able to find that comes close (& that I like) is the Touren TR9 (3190-6709MB).
It has an offset of 42mm.

How can I tell if this wheel will work on my CM?

hi Sue

if you buy 205/65-16 tires, they will fit and your speedo will be spot on accurate plus the added sidewall height will give you more rim protection from potholes

^^ Nice! Can't wait to try out the countryman in the snow. Previously, my wife had a Subaru Legacy GT. It was so much fun in the snow.

Just so you know, the setup is sweet and I love the handling and the look, but the car gets extremely dirty. I'm putting rally armor mudflaps on this week to combat it.

thanks again. i saw you mention that. the alternative wheel i have found is a 42 mm offset so i don't think it will spare me much in the dirt department. given that, i think i'll go with your setup!

Just had a set of WS-70 winter tires in 215/60-17 put on the All4. Fit fine with plenty of space in the wheel well for chains. Only problem was NTB destroyed one of the TPM sensors in the process. Seems like some of these places use a torque wrench to take out the cores for quick deflation.

Oops forgot to mention... they're smaller than their size rating would indicate. According to the GPS, when the MINI says it's going 60mph on the speedo, it's really going 59mph.
