Finally achieved the Chrome free black/white color scheme I have been wanting.
Where'd you get the matte black door handle covers? And do they make them for cars with comfort access?

What size tires are you running? This looks great. How's the wind noise with that roof basket?

You need to lift 2 inch with the lift kit then put these tire size:
215/60R17 Yokohama Geolandar

If you have 18" wheels:
255/55/18 OR 215/70/16 BFGoodrich All Terrains

Wind noise is bearable. Not as bad. I was expecting it to be loud but it wasn't.

Installed the M7 Monster Strut Bar. I reversed the typical install method of the actual strut bar to leave me room to fit the final version of the CAI.

Definitely a solid piece that has improved turn-in greatly. More than I expected to be honest. You can definitely feel the back end wanting to swing around the front inside tire while turning in a nice controlled manner. It really keeps the towers in place and the front planted.

A rear sway bar will really tighten it all up and coilovers should perfect it!

Just took off a K&N Typhoon on my 2012 Countryman S, and thought I should share with anyone considering buying one. The K&N didn't fit as advertised on my Countryman (yes, I verified the K&N part # and the month of manufacturing for the Mini). The replacement upper air box that came with it had zero clearance, and scratched against the paneling covering the upper part of the firewall. I got out my mirrors and flashlight to ensure that the upper, and lower were properly mounted, thinking something must be wrong. Nope. They were both mounted properly. Luckily, I bought it on my Amazon Prime account and am able to return it.
After reviewing different threads on this site, it seems like going back to the stock intake system was the smartest thing I could've done (increased heat --> decreased low end torque and more wear and tear). Thinking I should spend my money on a rear sway bar, and the M7 front cross bar instead. Any real world suggestions for improving the fun factor on the R60?

Just put the 20mm spacers for a more aggressive look, oem mud flaps and the Nm sways. Man, for a lifted mini, the sway bars was night and day in handling. Worth the install. JB+ installed as well. I'm very impressed and money well spent. Thats it for me. All done.

I decided to WRC style my cowl in the engine bay. I also added new weather stripping the front of the hood area better.

I still have a few things to do before the engine bay is done.

I need to:
Finish the final version of the CAI intake (w/heat shielding)
Relocate/replace OE coolant reservoir tank
Relocate the battery to the boot

LOOK AWESOME! Love the whole package you have. So 20mm all the way around? Someone told me to stagger them. Bigger in the back and smaller in the front that they are staggered already from the factory. From your picture they all look equal at 20mm. Also what tires are those? They look good on the MCM. That roof basket with tire are making me want to spend money so bad!

They are 20mm all around since I was looking for a more mini suv look. I also wanted to do it all around so the stance would be better. The tires are yokohama geolandar all terrains. I had to put 2" lift kit to put these bad boys in there. Roof basket with spare tire kinda finished the look I want for it. Go to the dark side and spend money on your CM. lol.

Slightly off topic, how did the tsw x brace fitting go on initial install?

WMW said they dont recommend it on the all4 (i placed an order they recommended against it because of fitting issues).
But you made it work! Ha. I want to know your secrets :P

Any pics of the part installed?
