Same here, from here on out its all info from the dealer, but at least you can live track the boat its floating on

When I asked my MA where exactly my car is and what ship it's going to take, he told me that it's been produced and just needs to be transported to the port to be shipped here. I checked ASKMINI and they told me that it's waiting for a ship to transport the car.

I think my MA is not trying hard enough to give me some details.

I don't think most MAs know much about the shipping logistics. I suspect from their perspective it doesn't hurt to be a little vague, since if you start telling people what might happen and it doesn't they get more upset than if you don't tell them anything at all. It would be nice if there was a little more knowledge of where the car should be as opposed to just knowing what happened after it happens.

At the end of the day though, once your car gets on a boat you'll forget all the frustration waiting. Until the boat arrives and your not sure how long it will take the VDC and dealer to finish it up!

That's true. Although, he told me this response like 5 days ago, when the car was built.

Your MA could be telling you all he knows. Mine took 7 days to get to port after it finished production then it sat at the port for almost two weeks. Ship info is not 100 percent confirmed until it has been loaded on the ship so why provide info that could be incorrect.

I like my MA, don't get me wrong, but "Just finished and waiting to be transported to port of exit " and "at port, waiting for ship" are quite different. The car took 4 days to reach the port of exit. I was just asking if he had "extra" details, that's all.

From what I have been reading at this forum, all the other's MAs have provided some details. I guess I just have to be more patient. :-)

The Toronto is in PORT as of last night..I am so hoping we make this ship, We have been in port since 9/5 so i am assuming 8 days at port is typically the norm. When will my MA have the shipping info ....I am assuming it is right alongside of me with the ASK - MINI 2 days out , Assuming as well if i am on the WWL ship i should be able to plunk my VIn in tommorow , once she is underway.

TPA mine was completed on 8/31 and then it sat for a day at the factory , it then takes 2-3 days to get to PORT , if yours was just completed on the 11th and the same time line holds then i dont think you'd be on that ship ...i could be wrong..what is ASK-MINI saying your status is??

Checking the WW site for my boat (Tombarra) it looks like the arrival date to NY has slipped one day to the 19th. Perhaps the weather is playing a part in that?

I have had mixed experience with ask mini. My MA orders all the minis for his location and he showed me on his computer the status of another order which showed the shipping information. I have sent him an email requesting the ship info so I can track it. Ask mini yesterday told me my cooper was on its way to the port and should be there in one day. I do not think he was correct about the timeline. My Ma will have better information for me
I think. Really, at the end of the day, it will get here when it gets here.

You're right. This waiting, and knowing nothing else, is making me nuts. :-)

On the plus side, it wasn't that long ago that consumers had no visibility into the supply chain and would pretty much be waiting until it showed up at the dealer.

Hooray!!! If mine is on the ship I think it is (NYK Line), it is supposed to arrive at Panama on the 16th. It's out of range on the Marine Traffic site.

Mines in my garage. I bought one off the lot. Instant gratification, and a nice discount on a 2012 before the '13s arrive.

Aww man I missed it! I didn't know there was a webcam there. It's out of range again but I believe it left yesterday towards Cali!
