20,000 miles and counting...

Just hit 20,000 miles a few weeks ago and she's running sweet... No major problems so far. Although we're having a mild winter, I've had no problems starting or getting through light to moderate snow/ice (installed Blizzak WS70 on all corners) Anyone out there with 20k+ on their R60?

Congrats! I'll be hitting 20k sometime next week. I took delivery back in late June 2010. Other than some minor squeaks and rattles and the trim peeling I'm quite happy.

Nice!
I got mine June 22 2011.
I think I'm on pace to put somewhere near 40k miles on this year alone!

KidLuck,

What size wheels are your WS70s on, 17" or 18"?

Very cool. Nice to see some folks are having a problem free ownership experience.

Maybe we should start a "How many miles are on your R60?" thread kinda like the R53 forum.

I'm running my stock 17" split spoke wheels with the WS70s for the winter and 20" TSW Nurburgring wheels with Hankook Ventus V12 EVOs for the summer.

24,000 miles here. Only two problems to date: ran out of gas with two ticks left and got a sidewall bubble in one of the stock run-flats. Averaging 29.5 MPG. 2011 All4 w/ auto.

Seems if you get past 6000 miles you have a hope of no issues. Seems 5500 miles is still on the beginning of life bath tub curve slope (thermostats and fuel pumps).

You betcha. 100 miles a day on I-70 - just me, my MINI and my iPod to pass the time!

We need to organize a Hoosier Countryman rally.

Nice to read these cars can take some mileage without many problems.
Until my R56 got smacked by a left-turner, it was solid as a rock, but after $14k in repairs (!), it was never quite the same.
