Countryman JCW

I don't know if this has been posted here yet, but I thought the CM folks would be interested in this. Looks good!

It's great when you find a review that says you made a great choice of a product. The coming JCW Countryman sounds like all the good things we hoped for in the ALL4.

That looks like a keeper. Bet it will be priced significantly over $40,000.

Dear Santa,
Please make available, a JCW tuning kit for existing All4 S. I've been good all year.

What came out, IMHO, is a set of cosmetic decorations rather than the performance enhancements most of us associate with the use of "tuning".

That second sentence was my own hopes for this revelation of the Countryman JCW. It didn't apply in any way to the link provided. Perhaps I should have used a carriage return or two. My girlfriend has a All4 and really wants there to be a JCW tune applicable to her 2011.

Little bit disappointed, I hope they give it more than 217hp, I was expecting something like 250hp from a 2.0 4 rather than the 1.6, I also hope they give it a decent bodykit one with bespoke bumpers front and rear, rather than the cheap and nasty tacked on lip like the existing JCW kit.

Makes whatever Prodrive come up with even more interesting for the enthusiast.

Guessing base at $36K means nicely configured will push $50K. Not sure about that....

Mine was just at $39k with almost all the options except it only has the Gravity Leather seats vs. Lounge, non metallic paint, and no Sport Suspension / 18" wheels. So you could probably add about grand to that if you added those three and it would come to about $40k. My dealer said don't do the 18"s with our sucky Cleveland roads. I wanted to stick with an all black interior so I didn't want the Lounge Leather as it has the white piping, plus the Gravity Leather has stiffer side bolsters. Loved the Surf Blue color so I didn't have to do the up charge on the paint.
