Getting ready order our 2012 All4, Tech and nav can't currently be ordered by the dealer. Anyone else see this? How long does this normally go for or is it an unknown, wait and see?

In any case, am I missing anything?

Hm. I ordered my 2012 CMS on 7/8, including the technology package and navigation. Perhaps things have changed since then.

I ordered my 2012 cm-s with tech and nav on 06/29 and it finished production today.

 

I ordered mine with tech and nav and it is on the boat already. I don't think your MA knows what he/she is doing. ...Unless now there is a shortage again. In that case.... :(

 

Agree about considering the 2-part center rail. The full rail is weird.

I personally love the Nav system. It's way better than some other built-ins I have had. Not as good as the touch screen Acura/Honda I have used but much better than some. I actually find it pretty user friendly and the voice activation stuff works pretty well for me too.

Not sure why you would boo the sunroof... No way to fully block out the light maybe?

 

We've had several vehicles with sunroof/moonroof and we decided we didn't need the maintenance issues and eventual failure that always seems to come along. The fun part of it didn't carry the day and MINI not having a blocking system, so we've skipped the glass - and it's worked out fine for us.

 

I also did not want a sunroof for the same reasons as ghamma but also because of the additional weight. The All4 is heavy as it is and another 100? lbs along with the potential for leaks/failure just wasnt worth it for me.
