Countryman Pickup

Was looking around and found this on the web. I think it's a pretty cool idea, I would probably have taken one over the standard CM if MINI built it.

I think the rear window and back of the bed should fold up and the rear seats fold down so the flat load floor could be used to extend the bed. That would also provide a canopy of sorts over the bed.

That style of vehicle is one of the ugliest I've ever seen. Just my opinion.

Great find - my gardener spouse would have gone nuts over that option.

Maybe a two door version would be better.

Opinions are like black over white Countrymen. Everyone has to have one - and the rest of us wonder why.

As a rabid pick-em-up kind of guy, I'd be willing to give it a look with an open mind.

Perfect for the urban redneck. Does it come with a shotgun / rifle rack for the rear window?

A liitle on the "big" side though. Wouldn't be surprised that MINI eventually comes out with a truck-type vehicle

my 89 (bright red) short bed silverado 4x4 that i bought new still hasn't quit running, not exactly suitable for the daily driver anymore, but dammit, its like part of the family, she'd get pretty jealous of another pickup!

Almost looks like a Photo Shop'd picture. Intriguing, but not to my liking.
