Striped CMs

For those of you with striping on your CMs, just wondering what your dealer charged, installed. Want to make sure I get a fair price.

I had them throw it in as part of the purchase price, but most have reported 500-1000, depending on how many stripes. Independent vinyl shops will be much cheaper

I ordered it with front go faster stripes. The ones for the boot were $250 installed at the VDC.

I saw prices all over the map - literally at 4 different dealerships (MD, VA, NJ). I could not get my MA to commit to a price no matter how hard I tried. I finally gave up and just went with the standard stripes in the Sport package.

I ordered them from this site in England:

http://www.mini-graphics.co.uk/index...mart&Itemid=80

Even with the international shipping, and conversion it cost me way less than anywhere in the US (iirc it was like $130 delivered for a full body stripe), and it was excellent quality.

I wound up doing the install myself, which worked out fine at first, got the whole front end done, but messed up when doing the boot a ruined the decal (stretched it out) so I did not do the roof yet (waiting till I can get a new boot piece). Still even just doing the front end I'm way ahead of the game as far as price goes. Pictures in my gallery.

The reason I decided to do it myself was the local sign shop said they did not do it, and a body shop quoted me $400 for the install, which I thought was a complete joke. So I got impatient and decided I could do it myself. Best bet though is ordering from the place above and going with a local vinyl shop if they will do it, probably will cost under $300 total for the whole body, much less if its just the bonnet.
