I'm hoping mine is on the Chesapeake Highway since it's floating but not showing up on WWL. Brunswick bound. Guess I'll find out next week.

 

Just confirmed mine is on the Don Juan scheduled to arrive NYC on the 14th!

 

No call from my MA or the manager yesterday as had been promised. I'm trying not to bug them and let them get me the info they say they are going to get me when they say they are going to get it to me and they fail every time.
Still hoping to be on the Dorado Leader as some of you on this thread.

 

Thanks for the story of your name, signelf! I also considered naming mine "Wilson", after Woodrow Wilson who founded Veteran's Day (on 11/11), but thought it might be confused with the volleyball on "Castaway" and somebody might try to play with it!

Meanwhile, all reports are she is still waiting at the port in Bremerhaven for a ride to Baltimore.

How did you confirm that you are on the Don Juan? MA or WW site? I am hoping, but my hopes are fading. Also, were you started on 11/11 or completed then?

 

sure hope that my MA is right that I am indeed on that ship... anyway, i've been tracking it and today at marinetraffic.com it's saying that it's now out of range..... here's hoping still.....

I believe we were completed on 11/11, give or take. I confirmed the booking/loading on the WW site. Was checking twice daily and it only appeared after the ship left the dock. This is my 3rd MINI since August of 2009. Shoot me your VIN and I will run the track and trace for you. The Don Juan does not make port in Baltimore; NYC to Charleston to Brunswick and then back across the Atlantic. The next Baltimore ship is Taiko leaving on the 5th and making port on the 16th.

This too is the 3rd mini I have traced. The others were my daughter's. The first one was rear-ended at 14 months and 8,000 miles and the 2nd was the replacement. I only get to drive it occasionally, so I am really excited about mine. I have been trying to track on the WW site, and no response yet. I will be picking the CM up at Princeton Mini, so I am looking for a NY ship. Just heard from MA that I have been assigned a ship and will know tomorrow....

 

Just got confirmation that my car is on the Mignon. Hopefully the weather holds up and doesn't get anymore delays.

Anyone know if you can still pick up your car at the VDC?

No luck. I can see other VIN's that are higher, mine ends in 26808, yet no luck on my VIN. The OL and Ask Mini still say Awaiting Transport.

If I was a pirate, I would be saying Aaaaarrrrrrgggghhhh! Since I'm an Okie, I'll just say Daaanng!

 

Still no word from my MA after I sent a follow up email yesterday. I say ROOOOAAAAAAARRRR!

 

A good sign indeed.... I just looked at the OL and it says that I'm En Route.... so I guess my car is on a ship trying desperately to get stateside. Man, the wait is a killer.....

heard from my MA that my MINI was enroute to arrive in port 12/21. would that be the Dorado Leader also? I tried the WW website and my VIN still does not show up. Hope to get my car before christmas!!!

you and I both.... if your MA said that it's going to be docking on 12/21, chances are your car is on the Dorado Leader. However, it's docking in Port Hueneme which is a little north of Los Angeles so it may take a few days to make it's way up north after being released from the VDC. I'm hoping that it makes it to me just before the motor tober rebate expires.... if it gets to me sooner, then it's just a xmas bonus.... Cheers....

 

I'm going to be SOL if it arrives after the 21st.
I'm traveling for the holidays and won't be back in time for the Motortober January 3rd deadline - I'm going to ask my MA if there is any way they can make an exception for Motorber given that I've been patiently waiting so long. Anyone else in the same situation?
