Same here, I did hear that my CM made it to the port today, guess not in time to make the ship.

Hopefully Saturday then for mine as the Courage leaves on 11/19 arriving in GA on 12/10.

LOL, yeah. Like 15 minutes after I posted that I refreshed the webcam, and the ship was gone! Oh well. The 19th works for me. I hope my car goes out then!

I'm worried it won't be making the Mignon on the 19th and if it does not get on that ship it's an extra 16 days of waiting for it to get to Port Hueneme.
That's what sucks about buying a MINI on the West Coast. It's a three week boat ride and almost two weeks between ships. Mine is out in the Atlantic scheduled to arrive at Port Hueneme on 11/30.

Please please please let me make that ship too. I told my wife that she didn't have to buy me any presents ... Just let my boy make it home by Christmas.

UPDATE! On Board Glorious Leader!

Our CM made it on the Glorious Leader! Due in NY on 11/30.

Please check the WW tracking site to see if yours is aboard.

I guess it takes the ship's staff/systems a while to get all the data and have it updated on the WW site. I think our info appeared in the early morning hours. That would mean about 8-10 hours after the Glorious Leader left the Bremerhaven dock.

congrats Koopah!

Congratulations on making the Glorious Leader! You have done a great job tracking your baby. I may need your help finding mine, though I guess I am a week or so (I hope) from where you are. How long did yours take to get from the start of production to On Board?

Great news, Koopah!!! The fleet of bench-seated CM will be hitting the N. American shores very soon! My MINI is still sitting on the dock of the bay, watching the tides roll in. Hope yours has a wonderful voyage!

Congratulations! It will be across the pond before you know it.
For tracking did you put in the full VIN or just a portion? I have seen posts stating full VIN, last 5, and last 7.

I used my full VIN. However, I just tested it and it seems to work with the full VIN and with just the last seven characters.

Thanks for the timeline! I discovered that K-Line no longer goes to Baltimore, so I'll be on a WW ship after all! If your MINI is any indication, I should be able to hop the Figaro on the 21st, 10 days after production. It actually gets to my port 2 days sooner than the Courage, even though it leaves two days later, and only one day after Glorious Leader docks there.

I searched on the WW site and found that the next boat to NY wasn't arriving until the 7th vs. the 3rd, am I searching wrong?

Right. In fact, the GL left the docks yesterday evening (US time) and my status wasn't updated until this morning...something like 8-10 hours after leaving the dock! Perhaps other WW ships process the data faster, though. The data must be barcoded/scanned, no?

Yep. It looks like the Topeka to arrive in NY on 12/07...still plenty of time to make the Motor-tober deadline! Note that WW updates their schedules every day and dates do move around for various reasons, hopefully none that are Titanic-related!!!!

The schedule I found says Glorious Leader is due to arrive in NY on 11/30, 13 days at sea. The next one after that is the Topeka, leaving 11/23 -- scheduled to land in NY on December 7th.

The next ship leaving for Port Hueneme is the Mignon leaving on the 19th getting in on December 12th. If we miss it, the next one is the Otello shipping out on Dec 3rd with arrival at PH on Dec 28th.

West Coast - awaiting transport!

My OL page has just updated me to "Awaiting Transport"

How can I figure out what ship it might be on?
It's final destination is San Francisco.

My understanding is that all West Coast vehicles go to Port Hueneme on WW shipping line. You can check their schedules at:

I hope I get on that boat that leaves tomorrow!
Otherwise I'll be on vacation when it arrives :(

If I'm having sport stripes installed at the port, does it get installed in the states when it arrives, or at port of departure?...don't want to miss the boat!

Looks like the WW ships Mignon and Courage will be leaving Bremerhaven today. The Courage is the next chance for east coast folks and, I believe, the Mignon is the first chance for Port Hueneme bench seat folks to get aboard. Bremerhaven is 9 hours ahead of PST, 6 hours ahead of EST.

To keep on schedule, the Mignon/Courage would have to leave port by 3:00 pm PST, or 6:00 pm EST. Giving them 3 or 4 hours (at a minimum) to upload their manifest, I'm guessing the VIN data might be available 7:00 pm (left coast) or 10:00 pm (right coast).

Fingers-crossed for everyone!!!
