Countryman 2012 Colors

Has anyone heard anything about colors for 2012? I currently have a MCS, chili red, silver roof that I LOVE. But I'll be getting the Countryman soon and I'm disappointed in the Pure Red (actually more orange). I was just hoping they would change or add new colors for 2012.

Pure Red is Pure Red and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. If you don't appreciate it, go with another color.

Sealy - who gonna start posting on the other boards that Chili Red just doesn't measure up to Pure Red.

Note: This post is just half in jest.

There's nothing worse than a reformed sinner. There's been a few of the CR posts, some of which I made. PR is not CR, thats a fact. PR is, however, a very odd but lovable color that makes a Countryman stand out from the crowd. Not for everyone, but that's understandable. But you just might surprise yourself if you give it a chance.

Second to Cosmic Blue the Pure Red is at the top. Dealership here has a "yellow" and they are speculating how they are going to have to give it away in a couple of years it looks so bad.

Oh, and to keep this on topic . . .

The question has come up before and, the last I heard, the colors will not change for the 2012 model year. As usual, that may change. They're starting to phase in the 2012 ordering, so you may want to check with your local MINI dealer to see if they have any updates.

Sealy - Who notes that this is a great little car, no matter the color.

The yellow is terrible, hopefully the one the dealer has doesn't have white wheels, that looks like a car only a clown or a blind person would drive.

There was a yellow one with a black top and anthracite wheels at my dealership. I didn't buy it, but I did think about it. I like the yellow.

Cosmic Blue is definitely aces, though. Mine's True Blue, which also great looking in person.

Hey, go careful there Mate. Some of us artisans love the yellow - it's....nuanced.

I think the colors get a bad rap, the blue selections are the the best I've seen by Mini, for a full spectrum of Blue. PR is a very nice red, I wouldn't even call it odd, I just love CR. I certainly prefer LW to PW. AB is a perfect black (certainly better than the old AB). RG is an amazing gray. OG is very similar to the classic BRG. LC and CS look great too. The only color I don't like is BY, but I haven't been a fan of any Mini yellow aside from I think it was Interchange Yellow that was on the R57 when it first came out (amazing color yellow with a hint of black).

And in general, besides rear bench, what else is new for 2012? Change in pricing?

So no one knows when the 2012 will be out or what changes besides the bench seat? I was just at the dealer getting my '07 R56 worked on and barely got out of their without my wife ordering her Countryman. I got her to agree to wait for the new model year to see if they work any kinks out. Anyone know if the initial models had any particularly issues?

Supply isn't meeting demand, especially if you want an auto or Connected
