I'm about to order my CM, and I have a question regarding the ambient lighting against the Pure Red color line.

I've seen the ambient light in action against both the Polar Beige and Black color lines, and I think it looks great. However, I'm considering getting the Pure Red interior color line (which I've only seen in photos online), so I'm wondering if the ambient lighting colors look funky, or get totally drowned out by the intense reddish color of the interior.

Anyone out there with Pure Red interior who can provide some input? How does it compare to the other colors?

I'm with you on this misska. I already ordered my red because the dealer told me that the surf blue interior was being temporarily discontinued because of color problems. I ordered the red, along with other options, but waiting for my CM has got me thinking I made some mistakes in picking my options, this being one of them (another being the flat load floor). I'd really like to see some pics with the ambient lighting against that red interior, too. Thanks.

 

I hope someone is able to provide input soon, since I'm supposed to finalize my order in the morning.

However, if I were you, I wouldn't worry about it. What's done is done, and honestly, I think it's going to look great. I'm just so particular about everything to the point that I'll unnecessarily agonize over it endlessly. If I don't hear back from someone expressly saying to avoid the red, I'm 99% sure I'm gonna roll with it. I think it looks really good. I can definitely see why you ordered it.

I can't say how the ambient lighting is in other CMs, but I really like it in my Pure Red interior. I have it set to rotate through the colors & I think it looks great :-).

 

Thanks, I think it'll look great too. I'm just waiting and second guessing everything I did in the meantime. I'm sure I'll be happy when my CM finally gets here.

 

I have the red colour line along with the cloth/leather parallel pure red (UK). The ambient lighting I keep on red as it really brings out the red panels. The purple/blue can look a little strange against the red though.

 

You'll be OK.

 

The Red Line interior is AWESOME. I too was apprehensive about ordering it this way without seeing it on my car, but I ordered Light White Countryman with black roof and mirrors. I have gotten a boatload of compliments about this combination. The only ambient lighting color that looks weird is the green.....The Red or purple with the redline is really cool.

 

Kalamazoo, I'm waiting on that same combo. Do you have any pic so I can salivate while I wait for mine to get here?

Thanks Kalamazoo, I got a chance to see it and it looks great. I didn't get the red cloth/leather seats but I think it'll look great either way. I did get the anthracite headliner so I know it'll look sharp. I'm going to paint my calipers red too, so that'll help bring that touch of red to the exterior as well.

And I guess we all have good taste too, since we're getting the same color combo (white/black/pure red color line)!

 

I have the polar beige color line and green doesn't look good in that either... even though I really like green.

So basically don't worry and get the cool interior...

 

Sorry.. I got a really stupid question ... Is the ambient light thing come with the car (mini cooper all4) ? Is inculded right ?
