Yaaaaaaahhhhhhhh

I'am one of you, one of youuuuu after 2 months of me and the wife going around and looking at new cars, she gave in and said get what ever you want, just had to wait her out, name of this game is I WIN . Which I wanted the CMS since I saw it but she though it was ugly but what ever so, saturday I placed my order for a True blue CMS ALL 4 Manual - Black roof - Anthracite wheels - black Leatherette, Sunroof, Checkered interior and a couple of other things. Now for the waiting and checking the OL and mini 800 # every hour on the hr but i told myself that i wasn't going to do that well see how long that last

Congrats. Please post pics here when you get it. I haven't seen what the anthracite wheels look like. There weren't any at the dealer.

I could be patient for a True Blue, but waiting for my slow-moving Pure Orange is driving my fruity. If those are the 18" anthracites they're great. If they're 17", they're still among the nicest.

Leatherette warning - the lack of lumbar support and the super grippiness of the material is something to think about! Cloth or leather wouldn't have those issues.

As much as I would've hated to pay for leather or cloth...

Just a thought from a new leatherette owner!

Seconded, though, I am getting used to it. Plus, it will be nice that years down the line, it will still be looking new with minimal maintenance from me

Congrats! Sounds like a nice-looking build. I'll be watching for your new True Blue Countryman around Indy in a couple of months.

I saw a silver CM downtown last week. She didn't even wave. Grrrr.

That pic is from the first week in January - just a couple of inches of snow. The next week we got about five inches, so I took the car out for a spin (literally) in an unplowed parking lot. Wheeeeee! After the ice storm things got a little squirrely in the ruts, but snow was no problem at all.
