What are these parts and where do they fit?

Hello everyone,

Just purchased my first Mini, a Countryman S ALL4, three weeks ago. Great car! Only one minor issue (and I feel stupid having to ask about it) - I found these plastic pieces in small bag in the boot and I do not know what they belong to or where they go. It is a little inconvenient to ask my dealer since they are 40 minutes away, but I was hoping by posting a pic that someone may be able to help. Thank you in advance!

Usually, when you find mysterious plastic bags in your boot, it means you've been used as a mule.

In this case, however, they are rail accessories. The straight ones go sided to side to keep things from sliding, the hooks hang over the edge for the trash bag or whatever.

Enjoy!

Sealy, you are a life saver! I have been pulling my hair out for two weeks trying to figure out where these pieces fit. I will finally be able to get a full night's rest tonight. Thanks again!

Two are the dividers for the center rail and the clips fit on the rear grab handles above the doors for coat hooks

I know, but it is more like "shame on me." My MA offered to go through the car with me upon delivery, but we had been there for 5 hours already working on the sale, it was after closing, and everyone was cranky and hungry. When I purchase my next Mini I will make sure to get to the dealer when it opens. Never again will I arrive at 4:30 pm.

Gotcha

I wouldn't have figured it out either if my MA hadn't told me.

Hmmm, I thought they were all for the rail. Thanks for the correction.

I believe they are for the rail system. I tried them last night and they clip right on to the rail system, nice, secure and you can slide them wherever you want. They do not fit as securely on the grab handles, plus the handles already have a hook designed into them.

Thanks for all of the input. Those little pieces were putting my nerves to the test.

All i know is the car I rented had them on the handles above the doors and I used them as a coat hook and they worked fine.
