I called ASKMINI & my CM-S is in production , due to be completed on April 7th. Anyone else due to be completed next week?? How reliable is ASKMINI?

 

Mine was just completed on March 30th. Went into Production on March 24th. I haven't had much issues thus far with AskMini. Seems to take about 24-hours to update phone messages so far.

 

Max is in production, to be done on 4/6/11. Maybe he will be here by the end of May )

 

I am hoping to have ours sometime in May also. We did a pre-trade so my wife and I our sharing one car for the time being. Dealer in Phoenix said 12-weeks, but I have high hopes it doesn't take that long especially considering it seems the process has gone pretty fast so far. Our was in Production within days after order.

 

As of 10:00pm last night, I was on order. As of 7:30am, I'm scheduled for production. Ask MINI has me estimated to be completed on 04/09.

Apparently, by what the OL indicates, mine will be built in Oxford. I guess and then sent to Austria for shipment to Baltimore. I think that's because only the Austrians can mix the Pure Red, so it has to be painted in Graz.

Another week to wait through.

My" estimated completion date" is April 8. Trying to work thru how to get my Mazda3 sold in time, but not so soon that I'll be car-less for weeks. Not sure, but it seems like some of my fellow east coast folks have gotten theirs in 4-5 weeks once they make it onto the ship. Do you guys have VINs? I don't yet, but maybe I need to look somewhere for it.?

 

Your VIN will be assigned somewhere in the production process and it will show up on the Owners Lounge. So look for it sometime this week I would think.

 

That goofy OL...it's not been updated to reflect the fact that CM's are built in Graz...maybe one day they will update it.

Got a call from my MA evening of 3/31 that it was scheduled but she didn't have the date. I called Ask Mini right away and they said 4/7. OL was updated by the next day with "in production" and the VIN.

 

The OL is wrong. It is being built in Graz. Mini has yet to update OL.

 

No, really - - - the Pure Reds are special. Hand built in Oxford by ex-Bentley craftsmen and then sent to Graz to be dipped in the Holy OJ Color Fountain.

Estimated Completion 4/5. It's in the paintshop today taking a bath in smurftub.

 

I ordered on 3/29 and VIN showed up on OL today. That's quick!

 

Ooh, I see a VIN now too! Sweet.

 

My CM is also in production. Ordered on 3/26, moved to production status on 3/31 (w/ VIN assigned). Estimated completion date is 4/8.

I was told to expect a 2 1/2 month wait for the vehicle to make its way to Seattle.

I ordered my Cosmic Blue/Black Top All4 (with white sport stripes) yesterday, April 1st. My MA said it should go in production April 15, I hope. I can't wait! So excited!

My MA could not understand why they install the hood and tailgate sport stripes at port, but not the door stripes which are dealership installed. No biggie.

Yes I did. MA Eric helped me finalize my order. He was a big help.

Another interesting about Port install vs. Dealership install. Port will install front mud flaps but not rear mug flaps. Dealership would be $200+ for the rear. I'm only getting the front ones, don't think the back ones would do much.

 

We ordered 2/26. Just went to production week 14. Scheduled to for completion on 4/9. We were hoping to take it to the Dragon but will be taking my 08 R56 JCW instead.....

I am haoping for a 5/2 delivery date as this is my wife's CM and 5/2 is our 25th anniverasry.

 

Mine completed production on 3/31. Otherwise, I'm in almost the exact same position. I have a Mazda3 that I'm going to be selling also.

I'm in SC, so I'm hoping for a quick delivery from Charleston, once it makes it across the pond. I'm still waiting for a ship though.

 

As you recall I said I order my Countryman 4/1. I just received an email from my MA saying that my car is now in production! WOW! Two weeks before scheduled.

 

It seems that the plant is in full swing now. By June, the CM sightings thread should be at least 3 pages long AskMINI indicated that my completion date has moved up a day.

 

Awesome! That's probably going to mean you get it 2 weeks earlier than planned!
