ordering problem

I ordered my cm all4 s on 3/2 and after speaking to my MA a few times we were definitely on the same page of what I was after....murdered out EVERYTHING! when I went into the dealership the day of order we reviewed everything to make sure it was perfect, which it was, so I paid my deposit and signed off on it. the order went through and I've been tracking it on ML and all seemed to be going smoothly until I noticed last night in my order details 4c6 surf blue color line which I definitely did not order! now my car is sailing across the mid atlantic with blue door trim

the dealership said they have no idea what could have happened and said they could fix it at the dealership but you have to understand how meticulous I am and especially how impatient of a person I am. this probably isn't the end of the world but it's driving me crazy!

is this a petty fix?

I'm pretty sure most of the trim parts in the doors/dash are easy to replace. Not just snap in/out, mind you, but something the dealership bodyshop should be able to change out. I know in my '06 they had to replace a door trim piece that they bungled up when I had it in for service for something, they ordered a replacement piece and when it came in they called me. I went in prepared to get a loaner and drive off, but they had the part replaced in about 20-30 minutes.
Hoping the '11 is the same way for you.
Annette

P.S. Just remembered, they trashed a piece when they replaced the windshield.

This is a good lesson learned for everyone ordering -- make sure you get a printout, triple-check, check again, and one more time before you sign off. You're going to live with this car a while -- make sure and get it right. Sounds like you will luck out on the color line business -- good thing that it wasn't the paint that was incorrectly entered!

Dont cry just yet.... When I ordered my Mini, the online tracking didnt match all my option choices either. When I got the car, it was exactly as I ordered.

I totally know how you feel - we wanted to get cloth/leather seats, with a black interior. The MINI configurator allows you to do this, but the MINI ordering systems requires Chocolate Brown color line w/ cloth/leather seats.

I almost ripped my hair out over it!

my wife reminded me that it's not the end of the world, and if we didn't like the car when it arrived, the deposit is 100% refundable...

Mako. is right, the dealer have preordered slots that they change color and option when we ordered from them. Mine was the same way, I ordered a light white but when I first logged in my order# it a black CM.
