My CM is set for delivery on Friday. It should be at the dealer in Columbus tomorrow night and they are bringing it to me on Friday. Just in time for a planned weekend road trip.

Nice! I will keep my eye out for you around the area. Our CM's will be close to twins!

I really don't want to pay for a rental. From what I was able to find out on here, there were plenty of people whose cars sat in Brunswick for over a week for whatever reason.

Are you having anything done at the dealer? I'm hoping to add the JCW steering wheel and gear shift. I'm also torn between the JCW side mirror caps and the checkered ones. I'm definitely doing the checkered rear view mirror cap. I'm new to this fun mini world.

We were going to add mudflaps but decided to scrap that and do that ourselves. Might do the clearbra.
My MCS will be getting clearbra and driving lights.
We are getting all our graphics done by Aesthetic Creations at the Dragon.

Wow! Thanks for the info on the Aesthetic Creations guys. I am looking forward to having some fun with this car! I love those driving lights. Hopefully I'll get to see them at the dealer on his car before he drives it home! On another note...... I just learned that the Arcadia Highway has been delayed until the 2nd.

Just talked to Randy at Global, ours is also on the Arcadia Hwy and due to dock tomorrow. He told me it takes about a week after it docks for customer pick up, on average. So maybe we'll see each other next Wednesday or so at Global!

Annette's MCS is getting the extra lights not my Countryman. I think the Xenon Headlamps, and the fog lights that come on it, will be all I need. Annette's MCS has been on a ship for a while now too and it only has to travel from England, so maybe you will get to see it too.

Looks like I am well back in the pack of delivery times now, as long as it arrives safe & sound...

Have fun on your road trip!!

Annette or MacMitch, have you guys heard anything about when your car will be at global? Your garage has gotten me "nesting" like I did for the arrival of my kids. I've been working and cleaning like a mad woman out there!

My Countryman is at the NYC VDC. My MA said I can probably pick it up on Monday, after they do the clearbra install. Should be interesting to get it back home. I had shoulder surgery this past Tuesday

No word from Global yet. We had to turn in the rental car today, so we are REALLY anxious to get that call.

Got mine yesterday. Well worth the wait. It's really a great combination of fun and comfortable. I'll get some pics when (if ?) it stops raining.

My MA called this morning to let me know my CM arrived at the dealership. Since I am having the clearbra installed, and they are not open Sunday, I will still be picking it up on Monday 3/7

You lucky dogs on the east coast are getting your cars left and right. Ours is still on the boat taking a cruise up the Mexican Riviera, won't even be to port until the 8th or 9th.

I am starting to feel left out....I talked to my MA Saturday and I got a maybe this week :-( It seems to have been napping on the coast, getting a tan maybe? He seemed to think it might spend the weekend on a truck somewhere.

FYI, I just talked to my MA this morning and She says there was a hold up at the Georgia port because of the wrong font used on some vehicle sheets or some sorts and customs wouldn't let them out.

Mine sat at the VDC for a week and is finally being released today for transport to my dealer. I thought I was going to pickup today but now it looks like another week

Wow that is just nuts. All due to the wrong font.

Yup, something to the effect of a 1000 cars being delayed. I thought I had read somewhere of something similar happening not too long ago to a batch of cars.

Crap, I hope my CM (which is at Baltimore VDC right now) doesn't have this issue.

I'm sooooooo frustrated today. I heard from my MA that mine has cleared the VDC (he calls it VPC like the BMW dudes do), and is just going to sit in Brunswick another week and probably won't get to Atlanta until the 12th. THEN, he says I can pick it up on the 22nd! WTF?!!! Even with the weekends that seems like a ridiculous amount of time. What are they going to do? Put the mud flaps on one day, rest, put the boot stripes on the next day, rest, change the steering wheel out on the third day, rest, change out the gear shift on the fourth day, rest, and then wash it and get swirls all in the paint on the fifth day, and then rest for another week before they call me to pick it up? Argh!

Here I am having a "mini" tantrum after saying I wouldn't. What is wrong with me? I got the email earlier today, and am still just as frustrated as I was when I got it. Has anyone ever heard of the dealer keeping the car for 10 days?

I'd talk to someone up the ladder, something's not right.

Teleigh, was yours on the Arcadia, too? What a pain, grrrrrrr.
We have scrapped all the add-ons from the dealership, deciding we can do most ourselves and are doing custom stuff at the Dragon, instead.
I found out Friday that the driving lights for the '11 are not currently available, but when I called Outmotoring.com they can get them, WTF is that about.
Since we are waiting on 2 and are sharing a truck neither of us feels like driving(it is SO big compared to a MINI), we are doubly anxious!
