Modimum, I will be sure to post pics when mine comes in. I liked the blue. I took the swatch to all over the showroom and outside and thought it looked really nice. I also liked it with the dark and light contrasting interior that I selected. I am sure you will like it.

Lindseybp, good to know there is another Cincy-bound MC headed in. Who is your MA? Mine sent me a message yesterday, "Car is produced but not shipped, meaning that it is out of production and waiting for a spot on the ship." I hope that means it is at the port inching its way closer and closer to the ship. Let me know if you hear anything.

My MA is Jay. Who is yours? Last info I got from him was an email on Monday saying it was produced. I'm hoping to get on a ship this week and will probably stop in Friday or Saturday to see if he has info on a ship or if it is still waiting to catch one. The last time I checked with ask-mini, last night, they told me it was waiting to get on transport to Bremerhaven so hopefully soon.

 

Mine is Eric. He emailed me yesterday. In addition he said he didn't have a status code for me, because the mini makes waiting fun wasn't allowing him to add anyone. Let's hope our CMs are on the same boat.

Yeah that is odd. My MA Jay was always able to look up the status code and tell me. You can always try Mike the sales manager there.

 

The email response that I got when I asked if "Mini Makes Waiting Fun" is the service that Mini reps use to track orders, Eric said that it was a way for customers to see the order progress. Other than the rep, ASK MINI and th OL, I didn't know there was another service (web, phone or anything else).

It sounds like it he was trying to add allow me access but the system was down. Yea, nothing that I have heard of in these forums.

hittlets - just not following you on this...your dealer uses a system to enter and track orders. This system is accessible by the MAs and other dealership personnel. The system will provide an entire status history of your order including the current status. No idea what your MA is trying to tell you, or trying not to tell you. If you live close by, go there and ask to look at the screen yourself.

 

I'm glad that you'll be able to get MINI Connected. I picked my Countryman last Monday and I love it and I love MINI Connected. It is sooo much fun to drive. Unfortunately I've been working some hellacious hours, so I haven't had much chance to play with it yet. But it is great :-)!
