Vanity/Prestige Plates?

I never did get around to getting one for the '04, and never got the front Euro Plate either.

Finally got myself to the DMV today, and of course, my top three options were gone.

Should have got around to it a few years ago I guess.

Guess there are a bunch of Minis somewhere in Georgia.

So I went with Minify.

Got one? Getting one? Spill.

I want a front Euro for my Countryman "Jumboshrimp" but haven't been able to find a drillless plate holder.

How about trying a different combination such as MNIMUM, MNIMUUM or MINIMMM?

I have MYNDGAP on El Kabong (my PW/B). The CM will be my husband's vehicle, so he gets to pick the vanity plate. I got my first vanity plate on my PT Cruiser as a kind of joke, but realized that it made my life easier. I go many places where I have to sign in and they always ask for car make/model, and tag info. I always laugh when I'm somewhere and see other people trudging out to the parking lot to look at their tags so they can finish signing in.
Here's the tag simulator. Just pick your state and fill it in to see what it will look like.

Yea that's perfect. I argued with a lady at the dealership about the color. I asked her what color is that Countryman? She said Orange and would not believe me when I told her it was red until she went over to the sticker and saw "Pure Red" on it..

I just installed our plates today, took a month to get them.
So in IOWA, on our Pure Red, NOT orange, Countryman...

BIGMINI

I used the gomonigo front adaptor, works just fine. (you'ld think I could spell gominigo )

I used an actual number plate from England for a month on the rear while waiting for the DMV to process the paperwork, proper yellow and such. Talk about alot of strange looks and double takes. Make certain you have the state legal paper one in the window, makes talking to the police much easier.

My family and I spent a bunch of time trying to think up what to get for a personalized plate and here are some which were available to us in NY:

XL MINI
BIGYMINI
SMALWRLD
MINIPLUS
8A MINI ("Ate a Mini")
BIGGM1N1
BIGRNLIF
MINIXXL
CHUBMINI
LOSTYUTH
INFL8TD
MIDIMINI
THNKBIGR
NOWBIGGR
GROWD UP
HATCHBOX
HAWTWHLZ
SUPRS1ZE
MINIROID (mini on roids)
BESTMINI (surprised this was available)
GONENUTZ (probably not good if you get pulled over and try to argue)
BLUEGRIT (ordering a True Blue CM...)
SMUURF (...with a white top )

Feel free to take any of these...I'm saving my best choice to myself until I get the plate.

This image is from late Dec, I was working with the folks at gominigo and this is the result. The plate is from my 73 Mini 1000. You might review previous posts on this subject.

Nice. Except for that stuff all over your bumper and the ground. I'm assuming that's the center mount, not the offset bracket? And adjustable up and down?

I'm finding $70 for the set up a little steep, but they have what seems to be the best product at the moment. Come the time, I may just have to close my eyes, grit my teeth, and hand over my credit card.

Also - great looking Countryman! What color is that?

Thanks!

Haha! Yup, you need to have some guts to get some of these plates.

It's actually tougher if you're a macho guy...you kinda rule out MAXIMINI or SIZEMATRS.
