Owner's Lounge Wrong?

Hi, folks...I know I'm impatient, but I put my production number into the Owner's Lounge just to see how it works, and it has the color of the vehicle wrong (oxford green instead of cosmic blue). Is this something that works itself out? I know we had Cosmic on the build sheet.

Call your MA to make sure it is just a mistake in the OL. Not on the order

So apparently they used the slot of one that was already on order, so my MA said it should change in a few days.

Yeah, that seems pretty normal. Dealers will order cars to fill all the slots they have open for production. If someone orders a car while they can still make changes, they'll update the order with your specs.

Didn't your MA tell you that the wrong car will show up and take a few days until it is correct?

Nope, but I guess he didn't expect me to log in first thing as soon as I drove home ;-)

Everything in the OL is updated correctly now. :-) Last night the color was put in correctly, and now all of the options are showing in the order detail. Still "on order" though I know my expected build date is 1/3. No need to check the OL five times a day for a while now. ;-)

I'm not sure. Maybe just check the OL three times a day and make morning and evening calls to ASK-MINI with your production number.

Or toss OL out completely and just rely on ASK-MINI automated system and the ASK-MINI reps. At least they are usually correct within 24 hours of each other.

When I ordered my car it said it was an Oxygen Blue Cooper S. The S doesn't even come in Oxygen Blue... part of me was hoping they'd paint the wrong model though. haha.

It also said i had no options at all... but when it came in it was correct - haha.

Thx for the info! I was worried about the same thing! This is a really common matter I guess. I will have to check back in a few days, after checking with MA to make sure.
