R60 Colorline Vs. Interior Color Confusion??!!
Colorline Vs. Interior Color Confusion??!!
HI,
Just ordered my Countryman All4 With True Blue, Polar Beige Gravity Leather and lots of great options, Very Happy!
Some confusion, however on Interior color for doors and some trim items -- 4C2 = Color Line Polar Beige and 4CW = Interior Color (Door Panels) in Polar Beige
When ordering, Manufacturer Order Entry will NOT allow both, so I have to choose one or the other -- i.e. 4C2 or 4CW
The Build Your Own Mini Website is very confusing on this detail (it actually allows you to specify both the Color Line AND Door Panels - even though the dealer says that the Manufacturer says NO)
SO, I ask you, which of these choices provides for THE MOST amount of INTERIOR SURFACE to be Polar Beige?
Thanks!

I am just trying to figure out which of these two choice will give my interior THE MOST amount of interior Beige surface area (i.e all of the trim at door sills, interior pillars between front and back doors, etc) -- I am still confused!!

I have to look for some pics of a beige color line & interior. I know above the doors will not be beige. Not sure about the boot trim.
I take that back. Check out the 8th picture down. It gives you an idea of the rear seat area.

Correct, I figured you would want to also see how much of the Interior Color Beige would be carried over into the rear of the car. If you wanted more Polar Beige in your interior then go with the 4CW option.
I had the same dilemma when ordering the car. I wanted as much polar beige interior as possible. Basically if you get the polar beige color line, the black and beige parts on the door are swapped in the following pic:

I'd also advise against getting the anthracite headliner since that will turn the headliner black as shown in that pic.
I got the following:
T6GW - Polar Beige Gravity Leather
4C1 - Color Line Carbon Black
4CW - Interior color Polar Beige

Wow that's alot of Polar Beige, especially if you do not get the anthracite headliner. Will be bright and open for sure, but hopefully no kids with dirty hands to get smudge prints everywhere. The Polar Beige is near white, more polar than beige.
Keeping it Light, but practical
We do have young kids, so I will try to keep scuff marks at lower door sill at a minimum by ordering Interior Color Carbon Black 4CU (Which provides for door lower trim and side trim black, up to beltline)
Polar Beige Gravity Leather (TGGW) - Will keep seats nice and Light

And, OH yes, Dual Pane Panoramic Sunroof (403) to let in the sunshine!
Please let me know if I did good!
