Talking Exhaust tubes =?

Somehow, the size of exhaust tubes is not anywhere on my priority list. But then, I'm a girl - could this be a guy thing?

It doesn't bother me. But then, I'm not much for mega exhaust tips.

I'm still picking out all my goodies. Waiting until I get to drive one. My dealer is stating they should have one by next week for me to drive.. If all goes well I am ordering one that day! Only wild card is sport suspension or not.. And, I'd like the mini connected, but is it stupid to not just go the extra 700 and get the nav too? Or just mini connected? I Have an 07 BMW e92 with sport suspension.. it's always felt pretty rough with the run flat tires.. Not sure if I want two cars that are that rough. Hmmmm..

You guys are right. They are probably the same than the hatch. I meant they seem really small too me compare to the overall size of the car and rear bumper.

So the whole idea of MINI Connected is that you can get new features in the cycle that consumer electronics works on (12-18 months) instead of the cycle car technology works with (7 years). My 03' has Nav and while I really loved it, the system is so dated that I rarely use it. My iPhone 4 with a Nav app is much more capable. That is what convinced me to skip Nav on my 2011. I do occasionally question the choice but I'm still feeling good about it.

So two years from now, Nav technology will have moved quite a bit forward and your car's Nav will still be in 2011.

Looking at it practically, $700 is pretty crazy for Nav since the handheld units are so affordable now and the Nav apps for the iPhone are less than $100. Keep in mind, this "practicality" is from the guy who got every other option except Nav. Just my 2 cents.

i ordered the visual boost but not the mini connected... For the moment it doesn't offer the "deal" worth the money! For sure in the future it will integrate some cool feature, but only then i'll do the upgrade...

I like to think that it's just a software upgrade... So maybe in the future we'll have the chance to find it elsewhere then BMW, or maybe some hacked version of the system :D That's why i took the visual boost!

Well put! Thank you for the advice, my good friend in the 12 volt auto industry said pretty much the exact same thing. Mine will pretty much have everything on it as well... Still not sure of sport suspension or not.. But have a bit of time.. Let us know when you get your rig!!

Glad to help!

On the sport suspension, I got it with my 03' MCS and have been really happy. Adding a rear sway bar in the most aggressive setting got rid of most of the stock understeer and has made the car a lot of fun.

Hearing people comment on it over the years, I think I've reduced the decision of sport suspension or not to a single issue. That being the quality of the pavement where you drive the most. People who live in areas with poor roads seem to regret the sport suspension. People who have milder winters and smoother roads seem to have no complaints.

I'm in Oregon where the roads are generally pretty good and I've really appreciated the firmer ride and better handling.
