UK allocation of Countryman sold out for 2010

http://www.businesscar.co.uk/story.a...77&c=2&theme=0

The Mini’s first four-door model, the Countryman, has sold out of its allocation for this year. Around 2500 models have already been purchased, which means any ordered from now on will not be delivered until 2011.

Mini product manager Lee Connolly said the top-spec Cooper S ALL4, its four-wheel drive model, is currently the most popular iteration ordered, but for fleets, the cost-friendly Cooper D will be top choice.

As Mini’s most viable option for companies, due to its four doors and 115g/km CO2, Connolly expects fleet sales to make up around a third of volume. He said the brand is pushing the car to businesses with corporate days, such as an event for 600 “lease deciders”, as well making a large fleet available for corporate test drives.

There were no 2010 Mini Countryman's available in the US. We have just been given our first 2011 Mini Countryman allocation and are taking orders. Send me an email if you have any questions, paul@southbaymini.com.

You've already received your quota allocation? Good news.

My order has been placed with my local dealer but since it contains 7L5 MINI Connected with Navigation, I guess my order will remain unallocated until this option becomes available?

MINIGEZR - can you explain exactly what option 4UL Flat Load Floor is?

"can you explain exactly what option 4UL Flat Load Floor is?"

This option on the Countryman allows the rear surface area to be completely flat once the rear seats are folded in the down postion.
I have yet to see a Countryman in person but lucky for me I will be attending the "Official Mini Countryman" training in Austin later this month.
