I stopped by Passport yesterday and they had a couple of Pure Reds. While I was there, they changed to every color except red.

Wow that is slick looking! You know have me second guessing the colors I have been looking at online.

Countryman colors cannot be looked at on line. They all have a unique quality that can only be appreciated in person and in multiple settings. So, get out there and take a look.

Awesome looking car rsbell!! Loving mine! Wish you all the best with yours

I tried the stubby or sport antenna, but from Mini. I changed back to the full length only because I didn't like the fit of the Mini Sport antenna. I'll have to check out the one from Craven.

Motor on

Paul

We put the Craven stubby on the new CM and the new MCS. Both equipped with MINI Connected with NAV. The reception actually seems improved. Not sure if it actually is better, but we seem to get reception even in the garage which we weren't with the stock antennae.
It certainly didn't get worse .

Thanks to all! We're loving our new MINI.

I haven't noticed any loss of signal with the stubby antenna, but I hardly ever listen to terrestrial broadcast radio, so my attitude going in was that I'd rather lose the signal and not look like a remote control car than keep it.

Annette,

I hope this does not sound sarcastic because it is certainly not meant that way, but if the reception is better, doesn't that mean the Craven antenna is better than the stock? This is an issue of some interest to me because my 2003 M3 got terrible radio reception, and it is a known issue for that particular model. If the stock antenna is anywhere close to being mediocre, I will be replacing it, especially since it will be easy to do so. (Replacing the antenna in the M3 meant disassembling the dash and interior between the driver's side roof and the C pillar.)

Looks great!!! Husband's build is similar (substitute 17's for your 18's and no bonnet stripes). I need to get a grill badge for him!

Ahoy KansasBob! I'm hoping to get mine on the evening of the 21st, as I am off the next day and I hope to get the run flats replaced ASAP.

New Window Tint and 4" Exhaust Tips

Latest mods:

I think the tint might be a touch too dark. Thoughts?

I definitely like the exhaust tips. They'll have to do until someone comes out with a new catback exhaust for the CM.

Sounds a bit "throatier", but definitely not overwhelming at all.

Looks good!

I personally don't like the front windows too dark, in consideration of visibility. But I'd say that definitely looks great on that car.

I might have the front ones lightened a shade.

I'll probably wait until my first ticket, though-and I'm a traffic judge pro tem!
