So glad there is an option to replace those dinky incandescant bulbs on the fog lights. They seem worthless and out of place with the xenons.

Hi docpat99 - I used plasti-dip on the rings and emblems .

Sorry for the awful iPhone photos - but I just wanted to get something on the record until I have time to take some nice ones. Here's my mini next to his (MUCH) older brother. They like to speak German together. You can see now why I was team chrome - I thought they'd look nice together.

Hee hee! I see my Brigitte (or her twin sister actually) in the background of your first pic.
Wow beauxgoris, I really like Botero's color! And his big bro too. I had a '91 300E we kept for 19 years and over 250K miles. LOVED that car--and they do not make them like that anymore.
I spent 6 years in an Acura--a fine car--but my MINI makes me smile

^^This is exactly how I feel too. I always look back at him when I park - and even when I'm driving - I feel like the Cheshire cat.

He's a 1965 - 4 speed stick diesel. Slow but great milage and lasts forever.

Thank you. I went chrome-overboard, but you can see why. I'm happy with the way he turned out though.
