It's the Merkle Wildlife Sanctuary. The wooden bridge goes over wetlands and the river with a pull-over in the middle so you can look at the flora and fauna. Drive section is only open on Sundays. I't a nice little diversion.

I didn't get a bow. Keith just told me to come back soon for another new one.
Your MINI looks great and I hope you enjoy every minute.

We've had nearly constant rain since I picked it up last week so I don't have proper picks yet so this will have to do. I traded my beloved '08 MCS in Chili Red for the Crystal Silver Countryman-S (non all-4). Have Red Bonnet stripe clones on order from MiniMotoringgraphics. If I don't like them I'll go with white bonnet stripes.

PO would have tucked his tail pipe between his tires and sulked off to a corner if someone had put a bow on his bonnet. Originally Posted by danglow1

Kiwi,
I still wish we had the Diesel option in the states. The best vehicle I ever owned (until my CM comes later this month) was a VW TDI. Drove it over 100,000 miles with virtually no problems, and averaged over 45MPG to boot. Diesel is the way to go...
The car you have is exactly like the one I initially wanted when the rumors came out about the diesel CM coming to the states. Then, BMW squashed the concept, so I went after the S version as my second choice. Your car looks great. Please let us know what kind of fuel efficiency you get, if only to rub it in...

I got my baby today! I'll get some pictures up as soon as it stops raining, sometime in June.
When I first saw it was like, "WOW!".
I would like to say that Eric from Cincinnati MINI and everybody else that helped with this car are amazing! Eric showed me how everything worked on the car. Synced my Blackberry to the bluetooth, setup Sirius, and set the turn signals to three blinks (LOL). I did not ask him to so any of this.
He will be getting all 10s!

Real nice. Now to enjoy the endless miles of motoring. Black roof and bonnet stripes look good.

When I went to order max in march my dealer had a countryman in the showroom with similar stripes. I do not like the viper stripes or the regular stripes for the countryman so I wanted something custom. I like the stripes on the justa copper better. I may also get the sides stripes later.Originally Posted by KiwiRob

From the picture, that looks like Sandia MINI. Their stripe guy is pretty dang good. Lots of good pictures on their Flickr page:

That is Sandia. So far I am very pleased with my experience there.
