Katy Texas says HELLO!!!

Hi guys! I am new and this is my first time posting here. My husband and I have a 2002 blue cooper. All we can say is "WE LOVE OUR MINI!" Any hoo we were wondering what type of oil do you all use when it comes to getting an oil change? And where could I possibly get some? Thanks!!!

Hi! I use Amsoil in mine, but I couldn't tell you what weight it is. I get mine changed at BHS. The Amsoil has made a huge difference in my car's performance!

Welcome! Mine is to new to have had an oil change. Check out a local mini dealer. Go to www.miniusa.com and you can locate a dealer.

Welcome to NAM. Mine is also to new for an oil change, it will be soon though. Look at the owners manual if you still have it. That should tell you what you need to know, also if you do not Royal Purple is good to use as well as Amsoil as GBMiniGirl stated.
Happy Motoring.

Asked the local MINI dealer the same question yesterday. The answer was "Any full synthetic oil 5w-30, Casterol makes MINI oil."

The best oil for your MINI is Mobil 1 5W30. It's unbeatable!
