Official 'Hi-imma-noob' thread
Hey all... so here I am... less than 2 weeks from my delivery date... i've been doing my homework and i've been plotting my path... and i have come to the conclusion that i am about to enter one of the most enthusiastic and interesting groups of people i've come across yet in my 25 years...
I ordered my baby from miniusa.com... she's was in transit to the east coast last week and should be hittin the road towards home as we speak... I picked oxygen blue w/ black roof and mirrors.. got it switched to automatic (i know i suck i'm sorry) got the fog lamps and the arm rest, fine silver / gray / black letherette interior, bumper protector, and stone guards... if i configured my profile right, her pic should be in my signature... if it doesn't post i'll fix it later...
this will be my first vehicle purchase... i've always driven everyone elses handme downs and i've always wanted a mini... so here i am... i think my head will asplode before she arrives...
neways... nice to meet all of you... you've all already given me so much insight about my mini future... thanks and i'll be joining your ranks soon...

Don't be sorry about the auto - if that's what you wanted, then cool. I have the same.
I love the Oxygen Blue. If I had ordered an 07 instead of an 06 I'm sure that's what I would have gotten!

A few points:
- You don't suck
- Ox blue is the new Electric Blue. A fine choice.
- Congrats on a new car!
- is nicea no you spika de spanish. you noa worry, you head may 'asplode' a li'l, but the MINI, she is small, an' will hol' you brains nearby.
P.S. We won't tell anybody you're a jelly donut, but I suggest staying out of the food **** and 6th gear lounge threads, lest someone take a bite out of you...

i may be in 3rd gear. but i still have much to learn. everyone does.
so just kick back relax and stay infront of the computer all day like all of us..(with lives of course..)

Welcome! Congratz on your new baby. Can't wait to see pics. Keep reading the Forums...I've been reading here for 9 months, and still learning new things on a daily basis.
