How do I get out of neutral

I've posted several times, but I'm still in neutral. Can someone tell me what I need to do to get into gear? Thanks

Are you guys generally buying your minis with auto boxes ? In the UK only 10% of new minis are autos. You lack performance with thye auto box as opposed to stick shift.

You would probably get more responses if you ask this question in a new thread.

In general, I'd say more people in the U.S. drive an automatic than a manual.
I've got a Cooper on order but for us the stick isn't available until the March build.

Getting out of neutral is easy. It is the accelerating through the gears that takes forever. Very unlike our MINIs.
