New guy

Hey, the name is Chris. I'm currently waiting to order my R56. Hopefully I'll be able to do so within a month. Right now I'm trying to decide if I'm going to keep my current car as a 'spare' or trade it in. And just how I want to equip my MCS. Anyway, this seems like a good first step to ownership I'm not too good with introductions so if there's anything you'd like to know that my profile can't answer... ask!

Ewwwwwwww... Ahhhhhhhhhh.... NICE ! All black and white (if you decide to stick with that color choice) would be really sharp. Just be sure to visit the Detailing 101 forum because you're going to need that info to keep it looking sharp. Had a black Thunderbird Turbo Coupe back in the mid 80's. Haven't owned another black car since then, for good reason.

Anyway, good luck on your shopping and the entailing wait. In the meantime, enjoy your stay on NAM !

My current car is black so I know what a chore it can be to keep it looking spotless... or near spotless anyway. But I'm wondering if the Mini's metallic black will make fine scratches more or less noticeable... If I don't get AB/W, it will most likely be PW/B. BTW, sweet pics R56MCS!

The Astro black seems to be a BIT better at hiding imperfections from what I've seen.
