Just Placed My MINI Order!
Here's my story...
I have wanted a MINI for years now. I wanted one in June 05, but my wife said no and made us get a 330 (she liked the new body style). So this past New Year's (our anniversary), she goes and rents an MCSC for four days. Of course, you MINIacs know that this just got me crazy. I HAD to have one.
So I spent three weeks looking around for a new one with the options I wanted (navigation and automatic). You really cannot find a MINI on a lot with navigation, can you? Then I decided to check for used MINIs, and I actually found a used MCSC with navigation, automatic, pretty much all the packages.
The only problem with the used MINI is that I'd have to pay for it now. With the ordered MINI, I can wait until its built to figure out financing. We're expecting a large tax return, so I decided to order a new one. Just got off the phone with Donabelle at South Bay confirming my order!
Here's what I got:
2007 MCSC
Lightning Blue Body w/ Black Top
Black Bonnet Stripes
Premium, Sport, and Convenience Packages
Automatic
Rear Fog Lamp
Powerfold Heated Mirrors
Heated Front Seats
Dark Blue Leather
Navigation
I'm too excited! What happens next?

Congrats -- the waiting is tough but at least it gives you time to work out the financing. You have a wait with the auto and the nav. Not sure when they are scheduled but it's most likely documented in the R56 forum here (do a search.)

Congrats and welcome! What happens next, rogrees, is you will study your MINI's specs, dream about motoring, and learn tons about MINIs here on NAM. This is a great place to get you through the wait!

Welcome to NAM--I'm waiting for mine too. Check the Track Your Mini thread, it's a blast. Mine is in transit somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic, arriving NY on Jan. 28. This is a great site, can't tell you how much I've learned.
