29 months of waiting are over!

I sold my '03 BRG/W S in August of '04 due to job circumstances. Well, it took 29 months, but I was able to get one again!

Premium, Cold, anthracite dash.

Driving lights and bonnet stripes of some sort are on the way, but I have to decide what.

Here is a low quality camera phone picture....it is 6 degrees here!

Just wanted to follow up....

It pretty much started snowing right after I got the car, so still no good pictures.

It does have one minor issue, the scuff plate on the drivers side (the silver one you step over getting in the car) is not stuck down perfectly, it has a 'bump' in the middle where it is not adhered to the plastic. I have to take it in to get that resolved. I also have to get the convenience opening programmed.

Loving the car, though. Passed 200 miles this morning. Had a good weekend, took the four of us (my wife, our 5 year old and our almost 1 year old baby) down to Gurney Mills near Chicago on Saturday. What a blast, and the whole family loves the car!

Yesterday I bought a very cheap computer stand for a temporary setup we have at the house, one of those fake wood Sauder things you have to assemble. The guy at Office Depot didn't seem to think it was going to fit, but lying the back seats down, and pushing the front seat forward to the 'exit' position, and it went right in!

Hey!
Its good to hear that you picked up a Mini and an S at that. Looks like we had the same idea around the same time and got a Mini S to replace a 318ti. Hope you like it. I will probably be up and around to a lot of autocrosses so maybe we can meet up with Mini's this time.

Hey how's it going? I was going to wait, but I really like the current gen cars....

Are you enjoying yours? We'll have to get together once the weather turns.

Things are going pretty well. The mini is GREAT. It makes my now 2300 lb 318ti feel like a dog. I can't wait to put some mods on the mini. Hope you are enjoying your mini as much as I am enjoying mine
