I am new to the forum and I am mostly here looking for advice on repairs and problems with my Mini. I inherited my Mini from my father when he died, and I love it, but I don't love how expensive it is to fix!

Hi Juds, What type of MINI do you have exactly and as always..posting some pics would be great too. Welcome to the club and Happy Motoring! I am sure someone will be along to help with any questions you may have.

Welcome to NAM. Sorry about your father. Let his Motoring spirit live on through you!

When it comes to MINIs, NAM is as good as family. Dysfunctional, slightly deranged, but always there to help!

Thanks for the welcome
Well, I have a chilli pepper red 2002 MINI. It's pretty basic -- Dad wasn't a big fan of bells and whistles. It was one of the first ones purchased in the Boston area, and it was his first brand new car in almost 25 years. He loved it and used it well!
I took it on a trip out to Colorado a few summers back and took some photos. Feel free to check out my blog at leslieacrossusa.blogspot.com. I took lots of photos of JUDSMNI. At the time, I was sporting quite a dent in the bumper thanks to my first winter with the MINI and a well-hidden, snow-covered granite post. It has since been fixed.

Make your dad proud and enjoy motoring as he did.

Depending on your level of mechanical expertise, you can fix/mod your car with guidance from all of the good folks on this forum.
