Welcome to NAM, and to the Wild World of MINIs (WWM).
Keep yourself occupied during the waiting period.

I have a harmon kardon system in my 2006. Heated seats and that were the best assets. I also got LSD and DSC. Those were for safety and power. I didnt have that much cash (well a lot compared to some I guess) but the addition of 1300 dollars in those extra options made for a very small difference in monthly payments. Of course, I put just under 10k down (accountant said do not put down the full 14k that I was planning on).

I use the heated seats the most living in the north.

i love my mini. it pimps.

All the reviews I've read say you are going to get an awesome car - welcome!

I'm so excited, I test drove the mazdaspeed3 today, very fast car, felt like a big boat though. I am used to a 1988 toyota MR2 supercharged so that maybe why.

Hey Six
Congrats!
Waiting is kinda tough but I don't think your order has anything that will delay production.
I joined here about 3 weeks ago after lurking for a little while.
Ordered an MCS 2 weeks ago -- been doing what lots of people seem to do -- questioning my option choices and spend lots of free time here or checking the status of the order.
Anyway, take it easy there are lots of helpful people here.
Jim

Sixblade...

Sounds like a great MINI. I'm very partial to the dark silver color. I'll look forward to the pictures!

Welcome sixblade

Congratulations on your new buggy. If you haven't done so be sure and check the thread on how to track your MINI through the production process.
Good info and a blast to watch your "baby". Happy motoring - soon!

Congrats and Hello sixblade. The whole process ( the buying - tracking - and waiting ) was fun for us. I printed the owners manual and must of read every inch of it about 10 times. But the smile that the car puts on your face day in and day out is priceless! This site is full of great and knowledgeable people. Have done alot of reading but until recently have just begun to post. Happy Motoring!

When we ordered ours in 05 HB/MCS I downloaded off the MINIUSA website. I just looked at the 3 ring binder that I put it in but none of the pages have the web address printed on the bottom of them-not that it would still be in the same webpage. I did just look on the MINIUSA site a second ago but couldn't find it maybe someone else here knows how to get to it. Or check with your motoring adviser. If I do find it I'll get back to you.
