I am brand new to the Mini world and am not very good at computers, but have been encouraged to make a first post. So, here goes.
I purchased a Mini Cooper S in October of last year, after saving for it and dreaming about it for a yearl I still have my old Honda minivan for my dog shows/training, because I have three golden retrievers. However, I have taken one at a time in the Mini and it worked well.
My Mini is All white, with the chrome line inside and out and the 17" wheels with the retro looking wheels. I love it!! I have already taken a trip to NC and enjoyed driving through the mountains. I also have already had a punctured tire (2"screw), but of course I didn't say flat tire, because it never looked flat, even at 11 lbs psi. The alarm sounded and the system worked like a charm.
I look forward to getting know the local Mini community.

Jeanette...thanks for posting and welcome to NAM!! Hope you can check in now and again and post some more. Besides an abundance of MINI-related info, be sure to check out OT...there's something there for everybody, including dog lovers!!
Sometimes I have to pinch myself...motoring in a MINI seems like a dream sometimes!! It is so rare that an autmotive icon of Mini stature gets a second life as vibrant as this. I am so glad to be a part of MINIs and of the great community it engenders!

Welcome to NAM. Do you know how to post pictures? We like pictures of cars and dogs and especially pictures of cars with dogs in them. We have a beautiful golden retreiver, Sadie, who is the spitting image of every golden who has ever been in the LL Bean catalog

Just adding my Welcome to those already listed!! Must be something about the combination of white MINIs and Golden Dogs! We just took Sgt Pepper (the MINI) out past the break-in period this evening! My wife (bless her little innocent soul) says, "What does that mean?" I says "Now I can go over 90 MPH!!" and I get "the look" you know what I mean?! Chase is the Golden. But I'm not sure he knows the difference of when I'm calling him or giving him a command!! lol Anyhow, Jeanette! Welcome and good choices.
