As you can tell by my screen name i don't own a mini. But, i have a svtf with the 6spd tranny so some of us have things in common. I guess we all have in common fwd and great handling.By the way were is your tranny thread? I have a question about where the reverse sensor pluggs in.

Welcome to the board, even if you don't have a MINI.
The reverse switch is on the backside of the trans, just under the shifter mechanism. You may be able to get to it from the wheel side.
