I'm in for one MCS

Officially placed an order today, red with a black roof. No bonnet stripes though, but i'm thinking about those sports stripes. I like them better.

Thanks.
Mulling over some details. I'm curious if BMW has improved its iPod interface. Previously it was limited to a set number of playlists. I wonder if the R56 unit will allow full access to the iPod's contents.

What can I say........Excellent choice...impeccable taste. You won't regret it (as long as you get the stripes) See my gallery for an example.

Ahh - it looks great. I know the white roof is more of a classic Monte Carlo Rally look, but the black just looks "faster" to me.

I'm compiling stripes that I like in a thread in the modifications topic. the bonnet stripes are great, and mini traditional, but I'm into these classic sports car stripes - I think I want to put them off center too.

I've got a production number now, but the source code for the "where's my baby" page still shows a blank after the vin.

They really assign a vin before the car even hits the production line?

I remember when I had mine ordered, I think I spent most of my work-days watching the darn site, waiting for some status update. Moxie arrived while I was in Floriday, visiting relatives. I drove back up there just to get the MINI, then called in sick from work the rest of the week to drive. My boss at the time had ordered hers a couple weeks before mine, and hers was delivered a week after mine, so she knew why I was out...

Congrats, Lava!

Red is a great color with a million options. Actually, I think the wait is good, as you will notice your enthusiasm skyrockets while reading posts on NAM. Time passes pretty quick (unless you're a student, and then it's totally in slow motion). You don't want your MCS too soon, otherwize you'll hit the streets on the day of delivery (during a snow storm) and have to drive thru a salt-laiden turnpike to get home.

Will do - there are actually mockups of my colors with the stripes I hope to add in my Gallery, so you can check those out, and compare when the real thing arrives.

Oh and by the way dix, your gallery appeared to be empty today....!

Congrats on your purchase - I know I would have bought off the lot if they had what I wanted.
