Hello Everyone! I'm new to NAM and a new Mini owner. I am soo excited! I went on my first Mini event this weekend. It was a blast we had 65 Mini's and it was the 1st Annual Mini Pride Rally / Run. It was then that I found out about MOTD. I want more info!!! I really want to go next year but I don't know where I should reserve a room or anything. I also need to know if it is family friendly as I have a 9 year old co-pilot. Any info. would be greatly appreciated. I really want to lay some rubber on The Dragon's Tail!!!

Very kid friendly! My daughters LOVE it! (11+16) this will be our 3rd year

wish I can join you all to the event , but there is lots of miles to drive I love the hot orange color looks really good on the mini and my harley too

 

As you read through many of the threads (as mentioned by many of the seasoned Dragon Vets, not including me ) just keep looking at the threads and call Fontana directly for availability. Either someone unfortunately has to back out or Fontana makes their timeshare cabins available. Or you can stay at one of the other lodging areas not too far away (where many stay by choice too).

 

So does the event start on Wednesday evening or Thursday monring? I want to make sure that I don't miss a thing!

It begins Thursday. I encourage anyone wanting to attend to call Fontana Village for lodging reservations. Get on a wait-list, if necessary, and call weekly. Depending on who you speak with, you'll be told different things. But as the cabins and lodge rooms sell out, they release time-share units, so don't give up! Plus, folks will cancel opening up other units. Always be sure to mention that you are part of the MINI Cooper group to get the group discount.

Yeah, I got my reservation at Fontana Village today!!! May 2,3,4,5, 2007. A Dogwood cabin. Hopefully it's not too hot or to cold around that time of year. I can't wait!!!!! I am sooooo excited.
