Testing the water
Hello everyone,
I'm brand new to this forum and just wanted to introduce myself. I'm the proud owner of a 2004 MS liquid yellow hard top. I also own a 2005 BMW X3 and a 1972 BMW 2002tii that I've owned for 25 years. My brother is a BMW mechanic hence my affinity for bemers.
I plan on coming to the Hollywood Park BMWCCA October 22 to see what the action is all about. Hope to see you there. Chao, Chechebell

Welcome aboard!
You'll find that this forum is full of people who love the MINI, and a number who are also BMW fans - wander around, take a look and chat with everyone - there's a tremendous amount of experience here.
72 2002 is awesome
I would shine that sucker up in all it's bizarre looking goodness. yes I do think it looks odd but really nice as well.
that is the one with the chrome lines on it right? never drive it in my area or the 2002 will be hanging on some teenagers bedroom wall. :(

Hey Chuck, My mom said that my brother came out of her womb holding a wrench. LOL His business is Escher Autohaus and he is the longest independent BMW business in our Coachella Valley. I swear he can fix anything! And El Jefe, my 2002tii is totally rad. It's all pretty much all original except for the following changes: My brother Scott dropped a 5 speed in about 10 years ago. Mo better! It has a 320i radiator was painted white from the original dark green. White is much better for the desert. It has the original tii mags and is in most excellent condition. I only take it out for a spin around town these days. Hate to think if I ever got hit!
Loving my mini to death. I laid it out when I first got it and zipped up to speed. Wow, too fast to die young. It's rad and I couldn't be happier. Life is good. Thanks for the hello's. I'll be hanging around and checking in. Cheech
