Congrats, Dave! Btw, I love your signature--so sad that they don't offer Cool Blue for the MCS, only the MCSC...would have gotten it for sure!

Good choice on the chrome bonnet scoop. I know I've become a little obsessive b/c I'm starting to wonder whether the body color scoop stands out enough...

Thanks, Laura, you've been a great help through this whole experience. I'll be back again sometime next week... all the excitement has sparked an interest in my father. He wants to take one for a test drive.

Anyways, thanks again everyone, in the coming weeks I'm gonna need all the NAM support I can get. All my friends think I'm still buying a "chick" car. They have no idea, so naive.

Welcome to NAM, Dave! There are a number of multi-MINI families on NAM...tell your dad that! And we will not be going down that "chick" car road, again. That topic has been beaten to death!

Welp, tomorrow is gonna be the end of week 1. Only 7 - 9 more to go.

Recieved my Production Number from Laura yesterday (thanks!), checked the Owner's Lounge, status is "on order". Getting real excited bout watching that blue dot work its way down that list.

In the meantime, I've been working on Custom Plate ideas.. here are a few..

MINI
MINI-S
CPRMINI
LTSMOTR
ACTLSIZ
SIZMTRS
BEEPEEP
-MINI-
06 MINI

If ya got any more ideas, lets hear em.

Thanks,
Dave

My vote on the plate - LTSMOTR

The wait is hard, but NAM will help to get you through it.

ME&MINI

I like that! Though Oklahoma doesn't allow the "&" sign. Don't know much about it, suppose each state has different rules. Only symbols allowed here are hyphons. *shrugs*

Congratulations on your order! We're all in this together.

Thanks! I couldn't believe it wasn't taken. MINI&ME was, but it's all the same to me. Yeah, in VA we're allowed hyphens, spaces, and "&." Not too shabby!

Let us know when you decide on one, and when your production week is! The wait is killing me, personally, but NAM is helping

Just called up Ask Mini. A super friendly guy just informed me my MINI is scheduled for Week 36 (early September).

It hasn't hit the production line yet, they must whip em out pretty fast over there.

Hooray! That's very exciting. The folks at ASK MINI are so nice and helpful; makes me feel like less of a schizo for calling all the time

Welcome to NAM and congrats on your new MINI. I remember checking the MINI website everyday to see if my dot had moved. It is so worth the wait. I picked up my new 06 on halloween day last year but it felt like Christmas Day and I was 5 years old again. It was so exciting...
oops almost forgot I like the LTSMOTR plate choice.

Congrats, we might be in the same production, I've been too lazy to call and find out but I ordered on 8/2.

The plate thing was really hard for me. I ended up with:

MININVY

2 weeks down! 6 - 8 more to go.

Just made my weekly call to AskMINI. Currently sitting firm at "Scheduled for production".

Also, after reviewing my order a bit closer, noticed "Anthracite Headliner" wasn't on there. AskMINI confirmed its absence aswell. I must have forgotten to add it in all the excitement...

SouthernMINI (my MA) is on vacation, but I'm hoping another representative can add that to my order, if its not too late.

Wow, you only make weekly calls to ASK MINI? That's discipline!

(I find it hard not to call more than once a day!)

Haha, no. Discipline is an attribute I've yet to learn.

To be honest, I try not to think about it as much as possible. A futile attempt I know.

Anyways, AskMINI confirmed Week 36'rs is still scheduled for the first week of September. Then just accross the pond, fix damage, accross the states, fix damage, install dealer options, then pick up! :impatient

Whew! Called up my dealership and managed to get the Anthracite Headliner added!

Apparently, production will begin in about a week for 36'rs.

Again, wanna thank everyone at Jackie Cooper MINI! So awesome!

3 weeks down! 5 to 7 more to go!!

Once again, weekly call confirmed production will start the week of Labor Day. Right on schedule.

I'm gonna head down to Dallas this weekend and catch up with the MTTS rally as they make their stop there. I'll be sure to take alot of pictures and post em up here.
