UPDATE: I'm tired of waiting to do this - here's what I'm getting!!

After months and months of agonizing waiting, I will finally be putting in my MINI order next Saturday!!! I'll be heading to Checkered Flag MINI in Virginia Beach to order this:

MCSa
Hyper Blue/White
White Sport Stripes
Premium Package
Sport Package
- White S-Lites w/ all-seasons
Space Gray Cloth
Hyper Blue interior surface
H/K stereo

I'm pumped!!!

Many thanks to everybody here for advice, input, etc. I've added and deleted options so many times it's not funny, but this is the final configuration!

The pics of your car epitomize why I love the HB/W combo so much. How can you not love that?!? And the white wheels really set it off.

Trust me, it's been a looooong wait up until now! So I don't know if that will make the order-to-delivery wait easier or harder!!

ash, be sure and let us know when yours comes in (as if that wasn't going to happen anyway). I look forward to meeting you and checking out your ride at a future RCM event!

Looks like an outstanding package! I bought my Hyper Blue off the lot with the interior HB surface. I think if I'd ordered, though, I would've passed on that. Not my preference.

MIB went through at least 30 different configurations between the time we decided to order and actually ordered. . I think I have built over 300 on the configurator since it came available. I still play with it today even after owning MIB for 6+months!

congrats on your order...

I am sure many of us has built and rebuilt their cars on miniusa.com...

You know you have the right car when you find that you build the same car a dozen times without even thinking...

Rethink the automatic issue:

1. It's a MINI
2. It's an S
3. It needs an LSD
4. A manual is alot more fun.

Nice specs! My only comment is you may really want to consider adding the cold package...those heated seats are fantastic in winter, or on long road trips! Even though I live in Los Angeles, I got that and it keeps my back limber on long trips....even with the a/c blasting!

The order went in today, with the specs outlined above!!! Major props to Jason Reidy and Checkered Flag for making it fun and being just as enthusiastic as I am (And for trying hard to get me into one today - Jason had specced one of their inventory orders with what he thought I would be getting, based on some things we had talked about before. So close!). Now the real wait begins!! It's murder already

Ditto:
Before SPUD, I would never have ordered heated seats (wimp option). I bought the car used and got the heated seats. Won't ever order a car without heated seats in the future.

Signed,
Newbie Wimp.

Educate me on the automatic transmission. I thought it was a continuously variable speed trans (belt driven cones) and not a 6 speed.
