Thanks for the welcome.

Well i drive a W reg Cooper Sport or Sportspack. Its one of the last ones made with a birthday of 311201. He's called Whisbit and is Anthracite and Platinum. The bodywork is pretty much standard but there is quite a lot of work done in the engine department and he rolling roaded earlier this year at 98 bhp and 98 lb/ft torque. The pitcture is just before the Chippy run in march where he is parked next to Vinnie another sportspack.

Cheers

Dev

Very nice Dev.

Are you saying that the car was made on Dec. 31st of 2001. Here in the states the only time i see thata style mini, its called a classic (before BMW took over) Until what date were they making your style and was it by BMW ? Are they still make those in the UK?

Snooter,

Yes my car was built on that day, Its still a classic cos it was built by rover even though they were in turn owned by BM. Rover wanted to kill off the mini back in 1994 when BMw bought it they brought them back.
The last ones were made in 2001. You can buy a heritage shell and build one but you need a very poorly mini to restore first for the v5.

Oh and thanks by the way.

Hi cashmir, thought i would check it out as you came over to our little uk site!

Cheers
Dev

For me it all started in Germany with the classics... Then 2002 in the US came around! Welcome to You and Whisbit!
