I am the third owner of this car. The original owner put less than 5,000 miles on the vehicle before selling it to the owner before me. The vehicle was purchased in Dayton, OH in excellent condition and driven to St. Louis where I’ve kept it since.
The vehicle has had two claims against it. The first was for damage to the front from an impact with a retread. At this time the front airdam, air conditioner condenser coil, power steering fan, running lights, and molding were all replaced. This work was performed at World Wide Car Service in Manchester, MO and has a lifetime guarantee.
The second claim was due to the 2012 Maryland Heights Hail Storm. $8,000 in body damage was done to the vehicle requiring the replacement of the headlights, hood, windshield, and roof as well as dent repairs to the fenders. At this time the roofs color was changed from white to black at my request. All work was performed again by World Wide Car Service in Manchester, MO and also has a lifetime guarantee.
The cars windows have been tinted within the legal limits. This work was performed by JML Audio in Valley Park and also has a lifetime workmanship guarantee.
The factory radio was replaced with a top end unit from Kenwood, the KIV-BT901. This unit has no CD player instead being designed for use with an iPhone, iPod, thumb drive, or other portable media device and is also integrated with the factory steering wheel controls. It is AM/FM and support Pandora via an iPhone. The unit also can accept a HD Radio or Sirius satellite radio module if you choose. It also has a Bluetooth handsfree kit with noise canceling mic and onscreen caller ID. The unit was professionally installed by JML Audio in Valley Park and has a lifetime workmanship guarantee on the installation. I also have the original packaging and manuals for this unit as well as the factory Mini Boost Radio if you wish to have that installed instead.
The vehicle currently has high performance summer tires installed on alloy wheels but has a second set of All Weather run flat tires on the factory wheels for winter use that I have not swapped on. These are included with the vehicle.
All regularly scheduled maintenance has been performed on the vehicle to the best of my knowledge. All maintenance since I’ve obtained ownership has been performed at licensed Mini repair shops, chiefly the Autohaus Mini of Clayton.
