After posting a couple of questions and getting many helpful responses (and weeks of reading as much as possible on NAM) I finally ordered my MINI! It's now not only in production, but I just called 1-866-ASK-MINI and was informed that it's in the paint shop!

So thanks everyone for your contributions to this community - they are very helpful and informative!

The plan is to get a Jolly Roger roof graphic and a pirate-y license plate. Can't wait to pick this thing up and road trip it back to Seattle!

Sounds sweet! I like the Jolly Rodger theme. We are taking delivery of our new MCSC on Saturday down at Northwest Mini. Can't wait!!!!!!!! It's supposed to be good weather so the top will be down for it's christening run. I can guarantee we won't be taking I-5 northbound...it will be backroads all the way home! Sounds like a bunch of new Minis are going to be running around the Northwest before long.

 

Oh yeah, definitely will be joining the Puget Sound motoring club. Can't wait to meet people! Hopefully I'll see you guys there!
