What happen to the week 17 people. My Cooper S is secdule for completion on april 28 so that makes me a week 17.

I guess there only building one car in week 17 and its mine.

Maybe it will increase the resale value as the only car mini built in week 17.

I was thinking the same thing (I'm scheduled for completion on April 25th - sorry to burst your bubble about being the only one ). I was thinking - man, maybe they aren't building many that week & can really give mine (now ours) lots of TLC . Can't wait, though!

 

Actually did not realize this thread was here. My car just finished being built today .

 

I was week 17, but then got bumped ahead to Week 16,,, completed April 20, on K-Line across the pond April 21.

 

Just found out today that my car arrived at the Port of exit. Here's hoping that it gets loaded on the Patriot set to sail on 4/30 .

Anyone else waiting for the Patriot?

My car is officially booked on the Patriot .

 

My car was finished yesterday and as of today it was at the port waiting to be loaded on a vessel. I hope its the patriot also.

 

Wohooo!!!!! I'm officially booked on the Patriot also! I was hoping for that - I keep reading horror stories about cars getting stuck at port for seemingly an eternity.
I still don't quite know why there are so few of us week 17ers. Well we'll just have the run of the boat to ourselves!

 

How did you find that you mini was booked on the patriot.

Click Auto Cargo and then use your VIN for your Cargo ID.

PATRIOT UPDATE:
Cars are now being loaded on the PATRIOT!!! My car is still sitting there waiting to be loaded, but should be any moment now . For those who don't know how to check this - you can track by booking number once you get your vehicle status on the WW site. Once you enter your booking number, press the printer friendly version and you will see a list of all 550 cars waiting to board. You will even see one poor car that shows "RETURNED TO SHIPPER" - yikes!

 

Now I just have to get my Vin number.

Can you see the VIn of the other minis on the ship.

 

You can get your VIN from the Owners Lounge, assuming you have put in your production number. There are 2 ways to see your VIN:

1: Click Service Log
2: Track your order and click Review Order Details (the screen will be blank but you can right-click and then select VIEW SOURCE and scroll down through all the weird looking code and you will see a string of variables that are all the options on your car INCLUDING the VIN

Thanks I called this morning and got my VIN #. When I checked it said that the car was booked but it was wait listed. I didn't get my hope down as the ships either hold 5,500 or 6,000 cars. I checked a secons ago and is says that the car was loaded on the ship at 9:30 on the 4/30/06 so the My mini is indeed on the open ocean sipping premium petrol from one of those glass with the lil umberala.

 

Which boat is yours on? The Patriot?

I'm a week 18 that turned into a week 17 (my MCS was complete on 4/27!)

Long Beach MINI is giving me the runaround with finding out how I can get info on whether my MCS was loaded or not. Did you guys call ASKMINI to get info or from your MA?

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mininini, ASK-MINI and your MA will only get info when the car is loaded on a ship. They do not have access to schedules and such. All of that is handled by the folks at Southampton.

Since you are a west-coaster (like me) it will be more difficult to see if our MINIs have been booked on a ship since west-coasters seem to get loaded on NYK Line ships. The WW (2wglobal.com) is so much nicer since you can enter your VIN and see if your MINI has been booked on a ship (works for east-coasters). For some reason the NYK Line website (nykline.com)has problems showing west-coast schedules (east-coast schedules work), so you have to check a german logistics company website to see schedules of NYK Line ships.

Use Port Hueneme in the port name in the Export Ship search box with a date starting 2-3 days before the ship leaves Southampton. This is tracking from Bremerhaven port that loads BMW's before going to Southampton.


Here is the latest schedule that I was able to get from that website. I put in 4/20/06 as the start date so we see what the previous ships were.

Add about 2-3 days to the ETS column and that is the date the ship should be in Southampton. So in the next week or so we have 3 chances Don Carlos, Ryujin, and Centaurs Leader (with the last 2 being the most probable since they are NYK ships).

My MA tells me that my MCS will most likely be @ the dock for 2 weeks until it gets picked up. Dunno why this is since I see some here are being booked pretty quickly. This sucks!

So, I'm just chillin' @ the dock now...

Yes mine is on the Patriot.

 

Mine is supposed to be on the PATRIOT as well. However, the status shows RCEIVED AT TERMINAL. It looks like only 90 cars are LOADED ON VESSEL out of the 825 that were booked on the PATRIOT. Hopefully mine is with yours on the open sea.

 

I hope yours is on there to.

When was the last time you checked the shipping companys website, and remember to refresh your page because if you looked at that page often it might not be showing you up to date info. So don't give up hope yet.
