Glad to be hooked up to NAM. Have a pretty early '02 MCS. Love it to death. Had a half dozen Porsches including 914-6s and a turbo. Enjoying the Mini more. Belong to a great club, So Cal Mini Maniacs. They do reat things. I love track events best. Have done a few motor mods, stuff from Madness: pulley, air intake, Borla exhaust, header, Works CPU, NGK Irridium plugs, short shift, Ferodo pads, and of course wheels and tires. H Sport suspension was last thing. Have run a couple track events, planning to do 6 a year and develop some consistant driving finese--then it's REAL fun! Hi to all you fanatics!

 

Welcome to NAM! This is great place to get MINI info beyond your expectations. I am a former long time Porsche owner that decided to go the MINI route. Never did I find a forum for the Porsche like NAM is for the MINI. Sounds like you'll have fun using your Porsche mods experience to really trick out your MINI. And you can do it for ALOT less than tricking out a Porsche.

(Honestly, I enjoy my MINI S far more than I enjoyed the 911s I owned over the years. But don't tell anyone.)
