So some of us are on the Integrity, and others are awaiting another ship. But who here has a mod list going, or has already purchased things for their MINI?

 

YAY MODS!!!!!!!! Well I am tossing on 18inch wheels the day I get it and getting tints soon after. Then I wanna do a 15% pulley, ALTA CAI (cold air intake) and probably a Milltek exhaust unless I spring for Webb exhaust comming out thats like 400 more, I think. Who knows. I really shouldnt do any mods for at least a year until I am out of school just incase something goes wrong and my warranty is voided because of the mods. I should be putting on about 30k my first year between finishing up college and work. So I really dont know I guess we will see what happends. I might do those mods during the summer and after I graduate if I really want just twin charge it, super charger + turbo charger = 300hp *DROOL* Anyone else?

 

hmm.. 300hp MINI Cooper? Something tells me that's not a great idea

.. unless you're strictly drag racing and aren't really into the "turning" part of driving.

 

Nah 300hp is completely fine, search for 300hp and find the video of the guy that uses it as a daily driver. It really isnt that bad, theres someone on NAM that has a 400hp MCS and drives it as a daily driver too i believe. Its all just knowing how to drive the car and not slamming on the pedal everytime you start moving. So basically dont drive like civic owners ...............

 

I only had to wait 2-3 days... there are frequent boats leaving for the east coast. Just keep checking the WW site....

ok - the Wallenius website is showing my MINI on the Integrity, with a status of loaded on vessel and according to thesailwx.info site, that ship is at sea right now. ASKMINI still says I'm awaiting transport - do ya think it is safe to assume that my MINI is in transit? The completed production date was last Thursday.........

there is another ship leaving today - the Jingu Maru. I would check the WW site and look at the vessel listed to see if you've been rebooked. When I missed the Elektra, I was rebooked on the Integrity and it updated the day the Integrity left. I kept looking at just the status and missed that the vessel name had changed. Make sure you check the vessel name. Hopefully you guys will be on it.

and also, the next one after that leaves on the 21st - its called the Freedom. It gets in on the 30th.

 

This is pretty fun. Thanks for sharing. (I'm starting to feel stupid being so obsessive about this whole tracking thing, but whatever.)

 

and besides I just started a new job (about 5 weeks ago) and don't have enough work to keep my busy all day long even though I have told my new boss I need more work! So this helps fill the time with fun stuff

 

Looks like we missed the boat, too.. Oh, well, it's not like its the first time..

Oops! I forgot to mention that I haven't yet planned any mods; not really anyhow. I'm interested in the CAI, but want to drive some of them out on the market first. I have some simple things planned, like: taking off the warning label on the visors, replacing the antenna for the shorty, etc. Wheels and tires will and pulley will be considered after driving it for a while. Anyway, that's me!

i just went through the entire logs of this shipment of the integrity and i found my VIN: received and booked only - not loaded.

I don't understand the whole load on the boat thing.... any theories on why some get loaded and some don't? Maybe its a dealer thing???? In any case, it really sucks big time for you guys... I feel your pain.

 

It's official, my mini is now assigned to the Freedom. Looks like it's scheduled to leave Southhampton for Charleston on April 21. That's only 3 more days. (Trying to look at the positive side!) I want my mini!

Was the Jingu Maru also at Southampton? Mine was booked on the WW site for the Integrity but didn't make it. Now it doesn't show up any longer on the WW site. Guess I'll have to wait on an update from MINI.
