Although I'm on the West Coast, I ordered from the Hamptons. I was also told that it would be 2nd week of May (possibly the 1st week) for delivery via Autolog train/truck shipment.

 

I don't mind the wait at this point. When I ordered my MCS, my MA told me to expect it by the 2nd week of June! You can probably imagine the feeling I had when I was told it would come in a month earlier

 

Now I'm worried...WW's website says I'm booked and received, but not loaded, and the ship has sailed! Does this mean I missed the boat? And when is there another one? When I search under my VIN it still says the boat is Integrity, maybe it's just not updated yet?

My MINI finished production on the 12th and was at the dock on the 13th, but is waiting for a ship to the West Coast. ASK MINI indicated that it could be a week before a ship and space is available . Apparently the dock at South Hampton is a massive vehicle loading dock with MBZ's, Volvos, BMW's, etc. The trip to the West Coast is ~24 days on the water , so ASK MINI indicated that it would be at my dealer in ~1 month or the end of May.

The good news is that LB MINI is close to the distribution center and has runs up and back almost daily.

So now the long part of the process begins....

Actually, I think I'm driving my girlfriend crazy. ALL I talk about is MINI coopers...

 

I KNOW that I've been driving my boyfriend crazy with the MINI talk. He even told me that I spend too much time on the NAM site! Hahaha, oops! I've been trying to cut back on my addiction.

 

For now I'd be willing to bet it's not updated yet. My car was received at the port last Friday and it says it was booked on the Integrity. It doesn't say anything about being loaded yet. Also, you have to consider that today is Good Friday and I know that the Charleston, SC Port is closed today so maybe the one in South Hampton was closed too. Never know. I'd check back either tomorrow or Sunday before getting worried.

 

I find it really interesting that, it seems the MINI especially, there are girls out there as crazily enthusiastic about cars as me. How do I get my girlfriend excited about it? (actually, she is excited about, out of all the cars i was looking at she liked it the best) She says she'll be too afraid to drive it when I bring it home. (she can barely drive a stick)

 

I'm on the same boat as you (no pun intended ). My VIN says booked and received on the Integrity. Nothing more. Hopefully, we didn't miss it

Thanks for the reassurance guys! I know I'm driving my husband nuts talking about the mini! He calls is my mini-obsession. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one!

 

that happenned to me as well. I was supposed to be on another ship and I stayed in booked status after the ship had gone. After about a day, it showed me rescheduled on the Integrity. Sorry if that is the case!

I am very sorry you guys missed the boat! I wish all our MINIs could party it up on the same boat! There has to be another boat sooner then 2 weeks. The MINI gods will take care of everything I am sure!

 

I would frickin go CRAZY if it just sits there at the port for 2 weeks! Especially having missed it by like... well by nothing! My car was finished on the 12th and the boat left on the 14th! And it was booked?!

I know how you feel but what can you do but be patient for another 1-2 weeks?

 

From what I'm reading here, if your tracking info says booked but not loaded then that means you've missed the ship??? I guess I'm in the same "boat", pun intended, as the rest of you all. Hopefully another ship will arrive soon and we'll be the first to be loaded. It sure is frustrating, but patience will reward us.

 

So I'll start off by saying, "don't quote me on this..." but, I was doing some checking on the WW website and found what I believe to be the next ship sailing from Southhampton. It looks like the Freedom will be leaving Southhampton on April 21st. Hopefully, if we are truely not on the Integrity, then we'll be on this ship, as an east coast delivery that is.
