Yeah, I am just happy that I have dates on when it will be in PC and PH. Other than that I am trying to calmly ride out the storm.

I love how people at work this its funny to talk about the boat sinking and Pirates and other BAD things. Ha. Really funny. Jackass.

OK, absolutely perish the thought, but...

Can you imagine the insurance claim if a 2 year old auto carrier vessel with 6000 brand new cars went down in the open seas? Wow, I'd hate to be that insurance carrier.

you and EVERYBODY I work with. My Partner is sick of hearing about the MINI. He looked at me last night and said "Oh, I didnt know your car was already on a boat?" GAH!! I told him the day before. I guess when I start things off with "my MINI" he just stops listening. I told my best friend when I was chatting with her and she said "goodforyou". *****. So, what I am getting at here is...DON'T TURN ON ME TOO!!!

Also got my Whalen **** on Monday and my Zaino cleaning stuff yesterday.

I know how this feels -- I get the eye roll anytime I start off a sentence with "my MINI."

To help AndyWSea feel a little better, I've gotten in the habbit of singing:

(Sung to the tune of I've been working on the railroad, 3rd or 4th verse)
My car's on a boat
My car's on a b-o-o-o-oat
My car's on a b-o-OAT
strummin' on the ol' banjo!

My kids join right in.

Unlike the west coasters, who get to have their cars prepped at the state of the art, BMW-owned and operated, Port Hueneme VDC, cars for New England and the northeast go through the North-East Auto-Marine Terminal.

Not quite the same, although you'll be pleased to know that "the North East Auto-Marine Terminal enjoys a constructive relationship with local labor".

LOL, I have started to censor myself around others when I realize I'm about to start talking about my MINI. I am actually worried that once I get it...what am I going to obsess about and think about all the time? Oh yeah...same stuff I did before I caught the MINI bug

I got my European Parcel Shelf in the mail today! Woo-hoo! Go Boat!

Per my MA, I am on the Centaurus Leader as well. ETA Port Hueneme 31 May. Voyage number M6MVOY13OX. Bill of lading 620990491. Has anyone figured out how to track the ships location yet?

Guy

At this point i have given up trying to track the boat. I dont think its possible with an NYK boat. I know it will be going through the Panama Canal on the 20th and Port of San Diego on the 28th (per the port of San Diego Website).

I haven't figured out how to track boats like the Centaurus Leader, which are not reporting under the call sign I found for them (HOOB). But maybe keep your eyes peeled when the boat's due to go through the panama canal:

and here are some photos of the boat:

Why does it look like the Courage is going in the wrong direction (at least as of 8:15 am EST on Thursday)??

HAHA! In my office, at work, I drew up on the white board a big map with Europe on the right, the East coast of N. America on the left, and I've been plotting the course of the Courage day by day on the white board. To spice things up, me and some co-workers added some obstacles:

An iceberg the size of Newfoundland (though you know, only 10% of the iceberg appears above the surface...) placed just south of the tip of Greenland, a serpentine sea monster lurking around the Azores, and a giant gelatinous cargo-ship devouring amoeba about the size of Spain floating amongst the depths a few hundred miles east of Cape Cod.

According to that map, the Courage is a bit south of the icebergs, but maybe one of the monsters has moved and the ship has been forced to take evasive maneuvers!!!

all in good fun...

Strange, I have the same bill of lading. When I checked with NYK they had no record of either of these numbers.
